Just left a nice review along with a five star rating , that was a great idea Monzo!

I'm going to buy the remaining apps I don't have - probably don't need them but just want to as a thank you. Top notch dev bloke.

I just loaded in a @JohnnyGoodyear vocal sample (didn't have to reinstall, just worked)

I never have to be reinstalled. I always just work...

Oh, I delete the app, reinstalled again, it goes excellent!

    My Votan Telepathy sounds fantastic!

  • PixelWave and SpectrumGen should be useful now?

Copy sounds from there to Poseidon should be exciting?

  • Animoog presets banks could be a place to port lots of original sounds.

  • How?

Oh, I did some experiment long ago. I took Animoog sound wave and Z3TA+ wave to try Nave synth. I use Audioshare to record those files.

I think Z3TA+ is also good, because I can knob tweaking and see those wave form is a precise way. Hand drawing is too random. Those are good starting point to shape sounds.

Poseidon is too powerful, well implement. If any deeper suggestion I can say is that I am willing to have IAP purchase for deeper FX slots, I found the basic FX is a bit too simple, cause I am lazy to plug more by way of Audiobus. You know, a straight built right in effects section save more energy consumptions. Poseidon earns these powers for all in one deep title!

  • Here's a track made using an imported sample into Poseidon.

Hehe, sounding like a ported Votan Telepathy! Good job!

  • Maybe before importing any sound to Poseidon, it is good idea to normalized the sound in Audioshare or TwistedWave or even to Auria to normalize sounds.

  • @kaikoo Thank you. To be honest I have no idea how I created the sample I used but given when it was made, you could be right.

  • How long must the sample be?

    Maximum stated is 25 seconds.

  • If you look at the wave form as it plays in Poseidon you can see that in different patches the sweeping of the sound across the wave can be quite a bit different.

  • Thanks VirSyn, for a wonderful seasonal gift.

  • Virsyn gets it.
All their stuff is 1/2 price right now.
ISynPoly is 2 bucks for criminy sakes...

  • The one Virsyn app I don't have - I'd love to play this new sample wave modeling thingie everyone's talking about. Hopefully they'll keep it on sale thru the holidays ...

  • I recorded a vocal sample into Audioshare and normalized it. Imported into Poseidon and wow!!!!
    Completely blown away!
    The possibilities are limitless now!
Must leave great review the sounds coming out are out of this world!
Can't wait to record combination of sounds from different synths.

It can also play chords melody with negative saw LFO ( Ramp Dn - Poseidon ) to Freq cutoff with almost full amount. Great jumping effect on LFO.

  • Tried to open it after updating and crashed. Deleted and re-installed twice with the same result. iPad3 iOS 8.4.1. Anyone else see this?

@ben Same here, iPad2 ios8.4, multiple re-installs and reboots, still crashing. It quit occasionally before update, but did work.Tried airplane mode, no dice.

  • I'm on 8.2 Air 1

    Hi, developer,

There is a lot of glitch sounds on Alphorn (hg) presets to play with Fugue Machine, even I change the ear phone and reduce the partials. I tested several presets with Fugue, things went fine, I just don't know why individual preset causes problem?

Btw, my own wave file runs fine with Fugue Machine midi out.

    iOS 9.2 Air2

  • Did a hard reset, re-installed still nothing. Disappointing. I was using it a lot. Worked perfectly before the update.

  • @Kaikoo sold me on it, should get the Apple 30% cut.

  • @Ben @vsmqu this is our fault, sorry. We have already ironed out the problem and are uploading a new version today. Hope that it's soon reviewed by Apple...

The startup crashes are only on 32-bit devices which includes iPad 3rd and 4th generation.
All with iPad Air / Air 2 and iPad mini retina and later should have no problem with the update.

    Harry
