@Tones4Christ You can backup your presets with iTunes Filesharing: Just download the folders and you'r set.
The new version 1.1 also allows preset sharing, but this could be cumbersome for many presets.

Thanks for letting us know Harry. Didn't notice any issues on my Air 1. Loving the new sample import feature.
Harry - isn't there a way to implement preset saving/backup to Dropbox or other cloud service? Having to use iTunes is something many would like to avoid I think. I rarely use my laptop any more if there is a way around it. Thanks for all the great apps!
+1, didn't have any issues on my 8x Air2, but really appreciate your work - brilliant update @VirSyn
Ah yes, forgot to mention my iPad Air 1 is still on iOS 8.x (latest 8)
Thanks! Should we skip this update if it's working?
Poseidon is insane for processing vocals now that we can import our own samples...
I feel it's going to be somewhat expensive times ahead here, first Poseidon and GeoShread and sooner or later I guess I'll fall into the AuriaPro trap with some plug-ins not to mention all the 'on the wait list' stuff. Oh well, it's always fun to tinker with new toys
+1 for @VirSyn Harry not just for the doing but for the telling.
As for the expense Mister Samu you are absolutely right, but there's also the (happy) cost as regards suddenly being thoroughly distracted with deep new stuff to fiddle about with....
Yep, BitWiz to Posiedon.
This update makes me curse my responsibilities this weekend. I wanna try this feature BAD!
Already read some great ideas in this thread...
@VirSyn , Poseidon seems to have a lot of latency when played through sequencer with another app. It will even loose sound and simply not play a sequence, notes...
I had it on Audiobus with animoog and a drum machine. Poseidon was drowning everything...
@soundklinik did you try turning down the volume in Poseidon so it didn't drown out the other apps in Audiobus?
With lots of polyphony going on, it is also possible to start clipping which will result in garbled sound, and the sound being shut off.
Hi Paul,
no problem with volume, I had the above going and Poseidon simply stopped playing notes from sequencer and when I played notes on its keyboard they would play a second later...(latency, not a sound problem)
Totally strange, never happened with other apps and I had many more loaded then 3...
I will try again anyway,
BTW thanks for the tip on Animoog and multi in...
@soundklinik you're welcome, hopefully you'll be able to get to the bottom of what's causing your loss of sound.
For some reason none of the wavetables are saving for me. I click Save, make sure there's no spaces in the name, click Save on the popup, go into the User bank for wavetables and its blank.
Air 1/9.2
@CalCutta I had the same problem and had to delete the app from my iPad and reinstall the app to get it working. If you delete the app from your iPad you'll use lose your presets You're supposed to be able to email them to yourself (one by one) and restore them using open in from email but the restored preset can't be found. The developer says they've submitted a fix for these issues in a new update.
Ah gotcha, thanks! I did see @VirSyn mentioned itunes file sharing works for preset saving, too.
I actually wiped all my presets from Poseidon in an impulsive erase/reinstall of everything a couple weeks ago so I only have a couple presets to lose now, haha. I will try the delete/reinstall on that, thanks @Paul !
@Calcutta I can actually load the preset in from the email and it plays plus figured out you just have to save it so the import does work.
Deleting/Reloading worked.
Loading a vocal sample, and turning the "Q" off on the keyboard is like what I always dreamed of doing when messing with an old tape 4-track using pitch control and making a racket. This is awesome!
@VirSyn. Thanks for the timely response Harry. Very excited about the new features. This is quickly becoming one of my favorites. I can actually makes sense of the Arp. That's a big deal for me.
What does the Q do?
@VirSyn Thanks Harry! Just started to dabble in Poseidon, love the sound. I have many VirSyn apps, they're all solid fun. I'll go roll the dice in Tera while I wait for the update.
With Q on, you slide your finger left or right the keyboard and it will work in a more traditional fashion and go to each of the notes. With Q off, you press a note then slide left or right, and it gives a pitch bend (but like if you turn pitch bend to +/- 24).
Cool! Thanks.
Can we import 48khz waves into Poseidon?
Tera and Poseidon are the best VirSyn apps, imo, worth picking that one up
After update, Crashy McCrashers on iPads 2 & 3 upon restart. Reinstall does not eliminate problem. FYI.
They submitted a fix already
Thanks for the update.
What are the requirements on sample import? Going from AudioShare to Poseidon sounds nothing like the original
