You guys are temping me. What does this offer that Nave does not, aside from ease of use? Nave gives me brain hurt.
This synth will not give you brain hurt,
It will give you sonic love!!!
The way to interact with your sound on spectrum plot that is the difference!
You can blur (smooth out), you can brighten, you can time warp (jump the scaning point), you can have multi waves scanning simultaneously, you can assign voices, change pitch, modulate the spectrum wave being scanned with LFO by keyboard fingering, you can control the loop length of the spectrum, the position of starting point of the loop being scanned. You can have multiple poles control by your hand to filter the sound, you can assign midi cc to control the spectrum. The most important aspect is you can direct record your copy of audio wave file from AB/Audio share straight to the spectrum analyzer.
You just don't have anything on apps store can do this thing is all in one synth! I don't think Poseidon is perfect sound-wise ( It doesn't have Moog and iMS-20 filters) but at least you have a tool to really EASILY reconstitute or reconstruct sounds from your wave files to be arpeggiator-able, midi-able, FX-able! that is the differences!
I am jealous of that first paragraph and, with apologies to Bobby Jones, am certain you are playing games here to which I am unfamiliar....
Yep, Johnny, It is all about playing spectrum plot on Poseidon!
I think @Kaikoo should maybe do a video demo to show us how to finger our spectrum plot... a lot.
Sir, this synth is really easier to operate than Animoog and Nave! You get it to Auria, it will shine with advanced FX plugin from Auria!
i am concerned what might happen if I should just happen to over finger my spectrum plot!
You will get noise to annoying ears....
PSP Echo is far more advanced on delay fx.....
Use Bit Lubrication.
Urrr, I mean, Bit Lubrication (c). Goddamn that's a great app name.
Hmm, went to try a noise with the arpeggiator and it seems to have stopped working.. Same with factory presets that use the arp. Could well be something stupid I am doing but if I press the play button at the bottom left of the arp page I get no sound at all. iPad on iOS 8.x, Poseidon version 1.1.0 @VirSyn
@VirSyn Hi Harry. I'm afraid the fix hasn't worked for me on iPad 4. Rebooted deleted and redden loaded six times but it never takes me bound the loading screen. Pity 'cos I was living the app and really excited by the improvements.
@Vorgon I don't think the fix is available yet. Wup, there it is, downloading...
Hello, virsyn,
