Seeing these apps getting sync capability is a dream come true!
I like the count in button (maybe it was there before and I just never noticed it; a new version makes you pay closer attention etc). Lots of apps HAVE count in of course, but I love the the fact that it's right there (and that the sticks sound like the real thing
)
Saw the Midi synch added description and my first thought was, "what, no Link?" So spoiled.
And the price shot up $5 again. Ouch.
I hate when people get paid for their work
Interesting aint it? We (Read: me) mutter internally when a sale pops up for something bought last week, but the less-observed corollary is when an app you already own is updated for free AND now costs others more than you paid for it....
I am soooooooo happy!!!!!!!
Happy happy happy!!!
We got our side stick also and effects oh my!!!! This is the best ever!
Worth every penny. I think we all need to leave reviews again cause apple refreshes with new versions doesn't it?
Well said. The only ones who are "paying for the work" are the people who haven't yet bought the app.
I've noticed on funk drummer and now this that the beat comes in early, about a 16th note or so. Has this been noticed by anyone else? @LuisMartinez have you observed this? Both this and funk drummer are amazing practice tools, I absolutely love them.
Great tools and the perfect antidote to some (great) apps that send me too far into EDM territory....
The swing control is awesome, brings new life to this app.
Count in button is awesome. DOn't think it was there before. ??
Ya, it was in the last version,,, didn't know
Count in doesn't work for me though in synch mode. So when I hit play in Auria, it starts RDM but it doesn't count in. Anyone noticed?
I really am enjoying this new update to this amazing app!
I think the next thing will be LINK!
Luis any plans for separate track outs? Would really love to have the Toms, Bass drum, snare on separate outs to export to Auria for effect processing.
The click was there before the update.
I actually bought this on Luis's tip that the price was going up. So, I sortof feel guilty.
So, I bought the AfroLatin drum machine and am tempted to get the Brazilian one as well.
The thing with these apps is that you aren't limited to just the patterns, so programming my own patterns with all of these great sounds is easy!
It would make sense that the click doesn't happen when you trigger a start from another app, otherwise the app triggering the start would have to delay it's own start.
This update makes me all the more interested in configuring MidiFlow with
my foot controller.
I'm sure it's operator error, but I'll figure it out.
I'm anctious also to set things up to tap a tempo with my foot controller which RDM will follow.
EXCITED about this one!
So sick the update is free! Hails, and in case yawl missed it here is my midi proof vid of funk drummer! So I shall assume this midi is just as dope. https://youtube.com/watch?v=zqB5gu4fyhs
what are the new fx features?
Like the ones in Funk Drummer.
cool, hey how much overlap do you guys think there is, if you've got funk drummer already ?
Both are great and I have both. They both have unique samples and grooves and I am hoping he comes out with more of them , like rhythm and blues drummer, or porn music drummer or hey, whatever he can dream up , they are all excellent. Like Rusty said programming your own from scratch or modifying existing grooves is a breeze! Great for unique intros or fills or just some stick or ride for a count in. The world is at your finger tips with these but they are so easy a caveman could do it! ( no offense to any Cavemen on the forum).
I have the FD and the Brazil and think they are great, just wondering do I really need the rock as what can it do that the others couldn't cover?
If you like jamming to rock beats then definitely yes. The kits are unique to the genre as well as the patterns. If you don' rock out often then you could more than likely do without surely.
Hey Tritonman you don't happen to use ifunbox do you, is there access to the samples?
I do love the beats to bash along to, but don't find the song mode that easy/intuitive to use. I can make it work, but it's a little zig zag....
No access to the samples.
