They got good work to complete. Can't always be on here listening to our rants and raves.

So do I - but I don't prance about whispering in people's ears about it- do you?

I just mean I don't like being teased with little snippets about what (big) is coming next as previously mentioned- what's the secret about? Don't say what you are going to do- say what you have just done- is my motto....... for today. :)

OK... so we're working on something called 'sections', basically helping you to build bigger ideas. We're hoping to get this out within two weeks. Here is a sneak peak.

  • Oh man, that looks great. Thanks.

When can we expect to see IAA support with transport control? I've been waiting for that key feature.

  • Sometimes product management is more about what you don't do than what you do.

And that Sections view is going to appeal to a much wider audience than IAA support with transport control. Just sayin...

Yes for now, I wish Devs could implement:

-Direct Transfer of 8 tracks to Launchpad
    -Delete factory banks
-Audiobus remote controls allowing you to turn on/off each of the 8 tracks from another Idevice
-Midi learn for tracks and volume levels

Congrats again too devs for such a brilliant work ! Keep on keepin'!

    +1000 + panning!

Maybe so, but it is on their list, it is essential to the way I work, and I'm curious as to when.........

Sections do look cool though!!

Not top of my 'essential features' list but I love the app , and really appreciate the continued development :)) Top of my list is a more precise button action for triggering each track...

  • @Launchpadforios sections look superb! You guys are on top of this so well! I really have to commend you for such a well paced rollout of features that MAKE SENSE.

I'm also wondering what the icons that have replaced the solo button are for.

Now, about my idea of swiping up to reverse a sample, or reverse as an effect per sample.... any chance of the marvellous Blocs Wave taking this advantage back from RemixLive?

I've been thinking about this a bit over the last couple of days, What about

Swipe Down - normal playback as is.
Swipe Up - Playback with start timed to link phase (i.e start playback at start of loop in time)
Swipe Left - Right to control playback direction - Not sure how you would handle link phase when reversing and un-reversing playback though.

The top one is the section number, the bottom one is solo

Ahh yes, should have guessed that.

  • Omg. Sections looks fantastic. MESA WANT!

Invidious, pestiferous, transmissible, epizootic, and, yes, entirely communicable.

  • Also look like the clips have two rows of text, clip names! :)

    Well spotted

  • The selected section has the same colors as the active Blocs. But the other sections don't. So this suggests that each of the six sections can have completely different samples. That means you potentially have access to 48 different loops in Blocs Wave. Assuming you can't slide the sections and get more sections.

I was thinking the same thing, but could it suggest that the section could have different loops activated?

  • A great, fun app....thanks.

@Launchpadforios , can you please please make a similar system of sample categories for user import like you made for your packs?
I am starting to drown in samples, being piled up to "import" or "recorded" and a few flattened ones and I got a couple of dozen....and I have no idea what they are or which type of music I want to use them for...except they are: drums, fx, etc....
If you allow us to make a folder and name it and then import samples in and have them tagged, that would be fantastic...
    Thanks in advance...
Or is there some way to do this I am not aware of?

Yes, in the "find" page each sample has a little gear icon. Click it then change "type". All of the regular categories are there.

I know that, but that doesn't separete different types of Musical genres, they are separated by instrument, such as basses are together and drums are together but NOT separated by STYLE of music.
If you look at the arrangement of the "packs" they are still sub divided, meaning dub bass is not with edm bass..but each has its respective "folder"....
    I hope @Launchpadforios will consider...

  • SWIPING SOLUTION: the ikaossilator method: swipe down to mute, swipe down again to unmute. Swipe up to solo, swipe up again to unsolo. Separate reverse button.

Gotcha. By categories I thought you meant "bass", "drums", "melodic", etc.

  • Thank you very much for that tiny morsel- we are indeed eminently grateful. What does it do? Or why will you not tell us?
