currently, nothing working anymore
"your iPad could not be activated because the activation server is currently not availabe"
Seems good so far. Early days though, but my fingers are crossed.
I've just tested my iConnectaudio4 changing the clock source to not the ipad with ios 9 on it and it runs without crackle so that bug seems fixed Latency seems good for me too, but then it was ok for me on 9.2.1
Yikes. Sorry to hear that. And thank you—gonna wait until late tonight!
Night Shift mode is good news for sure. I love f.lux on my laptop.
For activation, connect iPad to iTunes...
So far, Alchemy seems fine. That's on both my iPad and iPhone.
the update notes is a really long list but as usual no mention if it fixed or improved anything regarding audio.
i'm updating my phone now but will wait with my ipad.As usual.
thought it sounded gimmicky ...but just had a play .... and its actually very good
One of the most important things for me with any update, wonder if apple will bring out a new version now the logic one is finished.
yeah, just tried that but no luck either. even changed my icloud password but no luck -- now I'm locked out of my iPad? no idea what else to try. other than calling Apple tomorrow
sorry to hear that dude !
hmm, i had something about double authenticating after updating my ipad. i'd already updated my iphone without this request.
on the ipad... i couldn't go any further than me entering my phone number for the authentication process.
i powered down the ipad ... switched it back on to be greeted with
Apple ID Verification
Enter the password for "my email address" in settings
i swiped to open the ipad and entered my usual pass key
to be greeted with
Apple ID verification
Enter the password for "my email address" in settings
selected 'not now'
and my ipad opened as normal
That's good to hear. Is it night time by you? That's when you'll really notice the difference.
mh, I did not get that far ... good it worked for you.
But I saw that lots of peope on the internet can't activate their iPads after updating ... so maybe a glitch that hopefully gets repaired soon
Yes it is dark here. .... Night shift (scheduled) default setting is 10pm till 7 am. you can set it to what ever time you wish.
There's an "enable override until tomorrow setting" ... Where You can try it out and adjust the colour temperature
OK. So, the drone AB chain that I reported some moons ago would simply cut out in earlier iOS 9 now appears to be working perfectly in 9.3 FINALLY
Recorded over 10 mins of audio to Audioshare without it cutting out once. That is good news.
This is the most interesting report so far.
Indeed @johnfromberkeley
Also - fired up an Auria Pro project that uses 9 MIDI tracks and it seems to be a tad less heavy on CPU use. 10% perhaps. I'll try and do a more objective test at some point.
Also just tested an AB chain that has not worked without glitching since 7.1.2 and it's now working fine again.
FINALLY!
Thanks for reporting @MusicInclusive what device are you on?
this Night Shift feature finally makes the display human compatible. I believe this is a huge, important step in human-computer interface. Why did it take so long to implement it?
Beat me to it.
Air 2 initial tests, passed.
I will test this on my iPad air two before. Which will be very soon, based on the feedback in the
Yes - 1st time in 18 months that AB chain has worked properly @johnfromberkeley
Also tested at 256 and it's fine with that too.
I believe Flux was available on ios but was pulled by apple. ?correct?
It's what I've been using on my PC and forget that it is here. I would definitely notice if it was gone from my PC though.
Strange that they didn't include Night Shift for OSX 10.11.4 today.
Guess I should look into f.lux
Uh - device @Hmtx @JohnnyGoodyear = mini 2 in this case.
Now that jb 9.1 is out ,I am a bit skeptical upgrading to 9.3.....
I'm loading an iPad 3 as well right now. Once that's done, I'll test simultaneous use of the iPad 3 and the mini 2 on iConnectivity devices.
