    The app just became 6X more useful now. Will definitely use this alongside my volcas to record and produce. All it needs now is audiobus multi outs now to do effects processing. But even without that it's useful as a repository of my recordings.

    Sections is a brilliant addition. There's an occasional audio crackle when switching between sections but it seems flattening all loops in the section overcomes this. Anyway, it really adds to the improvisation-inspiration of this app

    I'm curious, what iPad are you using ? Don't notice this on my air2. Haven't tested yet on my ipad3

    Mini 4. I might have leapt to conclusions as a) some of the audio files were several minutes long, which will obviously add strain and b) there may be IAA ghost apps getting in the way (took 3 goes to add Patterning to AUM, Blocs Wave lost audio when added to AUM). I bet if I use a more considered workflow, the crackling doesn't happen.

    every week I wonder how is it possible to get even better, and they do it! great Job novation for progressing this app so beautifully. Anytime I create music on iOS this is the first app I open.

    1. quick ideas for future update, 1. reverse waveform function.
      2 individual track tuning
    2. filters for either each track, or global
    3. ability to draw a line in a loop area and have it automate pitch, and filters.

    Anyway great work Novation. Always great to see Devs listening to ideas and implementing them into apps in a very quick timeframe. Amazing.

    Just a heads up there's a word missing in the description on the website:

    "Up until now, you've only had access to 8 Loop pads in a single row. Well now we've added sections, you can start push your tunes further."

    A fine update! Now, Novation, how about some less glamorous but really useful stuff, like swipe actions to reverse samples, and different sample packs, as suggested many, many times on the AB forums?

    I wouldn't dismiss this as glamorous, this is probably the most useful update after slices.
    And are prebaked sample packs really that useful? They are cool but id rather have this update than a sample pack or ten

    I've finally bought the app! Huzzah! It's great! :D

    Now for the inevitable feature requests:

    1. Please can we have the ability to export all sections of a song at once rather than just one at a time.

    2. Ideally this would be in the form of a song mode where we could specify repetitions and section order.

    3. I know that I could just record a live session into AUM, Audioshare, Cubasis or Auria, but it would be cool to have a standalone 'global' recorder in Blocs Wave, too.

    4. Individual tuning for different sections, please! It would be great for chord progressions in a song. While the current sections setup allows for variation in terms of samples, slicing and mute statuses, the ability to change keys mid-song would be invaluable.

    Hi,

    Are the internal samples in a standard format that includes bbm and key information?
    If so what format is it because I wondered if there are samples available that could be imported straight into the app?

    One thing that I would have like with this new SECTIONS feature is the possibility to set change to "instant"/"end of bar"/"end of loop", so there's no hole in sound or an abrupt change when you change section and land in the middle of a loop...(now it's instant)

    @Launchpadforios, What did you decided about a better arrangement for imported loops, or it's not going to happen?...you know, folders per project?

    Now we need the ability to set individual key tuning per loop per pad! The next major killer feature!

    Between this and the possibility to set change to "instant"/"end of bar"/"end of loop", so there's no hole in sound or an abrupt change when you change section and land in the middle of a loop, I would be a very happy camper!! :smile:

    Needs quantization by beat/bar.
