  • nice. I've also played similar instruments from Hungary and Vietnam like the Khomus. With effects and electronics. Will check out the videos when I come near a wifi hotspot.

  • @EHX_Support the recent update doesn't fix the problem with IAA hosts. Please take a look at it. Thank you.

  • does the mini synth have both midi in and out?

  • I'm confused. What's the latest on this? AU and IAA issues resolved? Updated? Love renewed for electro harmonix?

I'd like to know this too, as it's on 'the list'. A simple thing though, so I'd need to run multiple instances to get by baubles excited by it.

I was looking at it as well (waiting for it to go AU), but it's a bit confusing. There are two versions (iPhone and iPad) and the text blurb warns that running the iPhone version on iPad may cause crashes (?). And it's not clear which one (or both) will get the AU treatment eventually. Between this and some other warnings and disclaimers in the description I get the feeling they haven't sorted the problems out yet.

Yeah me too. A fence sitting job, this one - there's a few apps on my iPad that are still awaiting promised IAA, AU and/or Audiobus support that still hasn't materialised months/years later. This time I'll wait until it's added before buying.

  • @MonzoPro
That's probably smart. I bought it because it was declared it already was an AU which turns out is not true. To say it already is so is a very strong promise though. Hopefully they'll be able to fix the issues soon. It is a nicely designed piece of software otherwise.

Yeah I saw it was listed as being AU compatible, but then saw the feedback on here that suggested otherwise.

They've done a lovely job, it looks and sounds great so a definite buy for me when they sort it out.

  • Really dissappointing. Why go to the trouble and make it damn near impossible to work with in a Windows DAW? Yes I owned the original hardware and am not a casual fan.

Do you mean this should have been a Windows VST as well as iOS?

  • I just noticed this as an audio unit in AUM. When did that happen!? Had totally forgotten about this synth. Sounds great!

Standalone it’s great! Unfortunately it’s not working in AUM or Logic. It either crashes or won’t validate. I sent crash reports to minisynth AT ehx DOT com

  • I had the hardware original of this. It was great. I’ll wait on the app until it works in AUM.
