Needs some kind of union - a collection of devs and artists to ensure our investment (financial, and time) in the platform is kept safe and fight against detrimental changes.

I can imagine how much Tim Cook would laugh. Apple routinely defy governments, and make virtually limitless amounts of cash from the plonkers who must have the latest extortionately priced phone.

Nothing short of a 25 billion dollar drop in profits would even make a dent in the chart.

I fear you may be right, but much as we will talk about it in the interim, let's revisit this in six months.

Nah, if there's one thing I've learnt in my brushes with very wealthy individuals and corporations, it's that they want to keep making more and more money and not let any of it slip away.

Plus Apple likes to think of itself as a serious pro platform, as well as a consumer one, and any dent in this facet of their brand will give directors the jitters. They're not part of the 'value' market after all, and their customers expect something special.

A loud, united voice and strong online community presence will reinforce the mobile music making platform as a serious commercial market. And if Apple drop the ball, other providers will be quick to step in.

Are you then volunteering to be our leader?

I think my presence might have the opposite effect...

  • will we see this new app this weekend? or do we still have a long wait? I can't wait.

  • Was a release time ever hinted at?

No, but you know how some of us like to whip ourselves up into a frenzy of anticipation :)

This is one of the best bits for me.

  • Got me back into playing with the non Pro version :)

  • Got me to try running four Virsyn synths through Aum, each with it's own arp sequence. Sounded good, if a bit unlistenable to many, but difficult to do with all the switching from app to app. Having it all in one thing will be a lot easier, I think

  • got me back into playing the non addictive ones (tera & poseidon)

  • Thing is with Addictive Synth is I only have half a clue what I'm doing :p

Apart from the arp section, they all seem to have completely different ways of doing things. Weird. But good.

  • Anyone familiar with my previous drivel will no doubt recognize me as the kettle here, but I feel I gotta say it. So much spitting into the wind. You don't tug on superman's cape. The applecart is as the applecart does.

So with that PSA out of the way, back to the rant at hand.

    What no iPhone version!?!

  • Oh, and special mention to number @u0421793
    Well played sir! Well played!

  • anybody heard any more news on when this app will drop?

  • Here we go...

They probably can't test it, it requires headphones.

    Deux points...

  • Please don't anyone post to this thread until it's out. Every time I see new posts, my heart leaps. I'm really looking forward to this one!
