Shhhhh! Quiet!
I'm not saying anything. Wait, does it have midi learn?
It's out now!
The teaser vid is out now!
Looks like this new 'Pro' version can replace the old Addictive Synth
Do you have a link? (Can't find it).
Tease!
https://itunes.apple.com/app/addictive-pro/id1130398188?mt=8
Interested to know if folks feel this explores/delivers something truly new (for a fool who already owns most everything else in the iOS synth field....)
Thanks! It's on my Air 2 now
The 'new' arp in Addictive Pro is almost like 'Fugue Machine'
I would guess it's an update and emergence more than something new. Emergence of Addictive with Poseidon in many ways.
You know you'll get it! Haha
Ooh, that's what I was hoping. Been looking forward to this one.
"Introductory offer 40% off" - that's the way to do it, I love Virsyn.
Yeah I was wondering that when I saw the playheads in the iTunes store pics. I think that's cool. Didn't buy yet but probably will soon.
I've not found a way to 'ping-pong' or 'reverse' the direction of the play-heads yet but I'll keep digging...
Virsyn has another winner here
Does the arp do midi out?
Plus I guess no Ableton Link yet, in fact no Link on any Virsyn apps yet I think?
The description doesn't list IAA or Audiobus, but I'm guessing they have this covered - they normally support both.
No Midi-Out nor Link yet.
My guess is that Virsyn Arpeggist will get an update soon with similar features but only @virsyn knows...
Thanks, am tempted so will see how long I hold out
Anyone verify?
On to my main app page within minutes.
The power of Addictive Synth with a much easier to use interface.
Enough added and tweaked elements to make it feel much better than the original.
Tweak masterful - the new interface makes it so easy to tweak or mold presets.
The extension of the arp really looks interesting need time to dig in more.
Bought but really wished it was universal for iPhone also
I wonder if they'll add the new arp features to their other synths? Hope so...
Listed in the global section.
The hybrid synthesis algorithm on which Addictive Pro is based provides you with efficient means for easy control of complex sounds far beyond usual sound synthesis methods:
Addictive Pro provides you a with unique form of Wavetable oscillators. These Wavetables are generated from the harmonic content and the free digital filter structure entered by the user.
The sound of up to 12 of this Wavetable oscillators is then further refined with a classic analog filter available in several 24dB and 12dB forms.
For the optional noise part of the sound you can use the same sophisticated digital filter struct as for the wavetable oscillators allowing for a vast variety of ever changing noisescapes.
The intelligent sound and rhythm randomizer can be applied to different sound aspects separately for really useful sound design and inspiration.
A four part polyrhythm Arpeggiator creates complex rhythmical structures with a touch of a finger.

I know that the excitement around new apps can be over-the-top at times, but after spending an all-too-brief amount of time with this so far, I am really liking it.
AudioBus is supported.
IAA-Instrument works well with Cubasis too both as IAA-Instrument(Midi Track) and IAA-Generator(Audio Track).
IAA-Transportbar is mostly useable when using Addictive Pro as IAA-Generator since it doesn't transmit midi.
IAA-Track Freezing 'works' In Cubasis but I'm really still looking forward to the 'fix' with Automatic Plug-In Delay comensation so the frozen tracks are in time with the sent midi-notes without the need to tinker with Midi Output Latency.
Virsyn knows how to do 'stuff' properly
Thanks for the confirmation - I'll get this tonight probably
how much is it, I'm not near my iOS at the moment?
