  • Haven't got this yet, didn't realise you could load your own samples. Might be a Saturday night app buy treat...

  • Is fairly simple but pretty neat, especially for drone gen.

  • I like it. Good wash factory.

  • I've already got Noatikl but I find it confusing to use - this looks a bit more straightforward....

Is there a way to get your own sounds in, apart from the dreaded iTunes?

Right now iTunes only, but the dev hints in the manual (link below) that audio share will be implemented in the future.

  • @MonzoPro

  • this app looks so great, the import options are the only thing holding me back at this point but it's not easy, just seems like a great app

Yeah me too. I'll probably get it anyway though, as it's a great price, and I can put it through a few FX to personalise the sound a bit.

  • It's a great app. Well worth buying. I must admit to being a little frustrated to still be waiting for AudioBus support. I mean, how far down the list is it?

  • It's a really cool app. And, I forget it's also great for launching in the background on automatic everything and just enjoying the soundscapes it generates airplayed out to your stereo.

For that alone it's worth the nominal price of admission.

All the automated gesture settings and customization is just a great extra delicious layer on the cake. :)

As long as it has either IAA or AB it'll work for me, though obviously both is preferable. Just need to improve on the sample import...

Yeah sounds great, will probably pick this up tonight.

I was too drunk to click the button last night, maybe tonight...

I was playing my guitar through Flux FX earlier, and thought Moodscaper would be a nice thing to jam along to - that's worth the admission price alone.

Too drunk to click a button! That's a serious investment in killing brain cells. Sounds like you'd become comfortably numb. ;)

I recall the last - and I mean last - time I was that bad, many years ago when I was a pro DJ. An unfortunate incident involving Vodka, Mild beer, a bin of Scouse home brew and a case of Claret. :*

That's quite a combo. I don't mix my poisons anymore.

It was the invincibility and stupidity of youth. Lesson learned that night...and the next day.

I've hit that button a few times when drunk and I probably shouldn't have.

Hello - moodscaper dev here. I'm super keen to add AB support, although due to limited resources (i.e. just me) I'm probably going to have to wait until AB3 is out. It is on the list (and high-up on the list) for sure though. In the meantime, IAA is supported and I've tightened up stability there as there were a few wobbles with iOS 10. Please do let me know what you'd like to see in future releases though - most of the new things come about as a result of suggestions and great ideas from current users. Cheers, -Rob

I love ❤️ your app and tell others every chance I get  but the only thing left I'm really pining for, is the ease of importing my own samples instead of using iTunes file share.

Every time a new moodscaper update come out, I get a little excited that maybe this is the one that adds easy sample import.

  • Well, i still would love to have a timer, so that i can leave the app running in the background, chill/ fall asleep to the beautiful sounds and the app closes itself after a set amount of time.
Can be hidden somewhere in settings, so it doesn't ruin the UI.

I don't either, but I do occasionally drink bucketloads of the same thing.

Going through a bit of a stressful time at the moment, so the odd bottle of cheap plonk keeps the goblins at bay.

  • Hello @moodscaper, I hope that Midi OUT is still on your list!?

The last time I've mixed was due to gigs at multiple venues so mixing was unavoidable. One of the culprits was called Iron Maiden, yuck. Currently bottled Heineken is the only I can drink in high quantities.

Hope you're gonna hit calmer waters soon.

Thanks matey. Today is going to be a decisive moment, if all goes well I can enjoy a bout of sobriety.

Years ago I used to play in Pogue-like Irish bands in pubs and at festivals - terrifying amounts of alcohol involved on and off stage...
