  • I'm not sure about user files but packs are now shared directly. Maybe with audio import these will appear in the library directly in addition to new imported files?
I'm waiting to the dscount to make tests too ;)

I like your hypothesis, do let me know if it checks out!

  • User imported files are not shared.

Did you tried with audio import addon? What a pitty if so...

  • Hey you guys that know stuff-
If you have the Novation hardware, can you trigger launchpad pads, and set the hardware up to tweak the effects?

I would like to use Launchpad to do one shot trigger of dialogue, etc. for live Reggae/Dub stuff. Bought the Delay pack for Launchpad, very cool delay.

But, with the delay opened, it covers some of the pads, so can't trigger them. Would probably buy the Novation hardware if you could map the effects to knobs, for real time tweaking.

    Thx in advance,

    roy

You can use the hardware to trigger the pads, and to turn FX on and off (bottom 2 rows of pads in the app), but you cannot tweak the FX parameters using the hardware. Although as you can use the hardware for the other stuff, you can have the FX full screen and tweak on screen while still being able to trigger your clips.

    Hope this helps

Yes, even with the Import Add On the user samples are not shared......the update was to allow LP packs to be used in blocs wave, it doesn't include user samples.

  • Thanks Andy. It's a shame... well I supose we still need audioshare in between as I do with loopyhd and blocs.

How it works audio import? As blocs? Just curiosity.

Similar to blocs but not exactly the same. You can have folders for example.
I find importing from Audioshare the best because you can import a folder in one go rather than having to do a sample at a time.
So you can export your samples from blocs to an audioshare folder, switch to LP and then import the whole lot in one go, then you can arrange them onto the pads as you wish.

  • And about bpm? I find the similar option in blocs but the necessity to write bpm and key is a bit annonying...

    Thanks once again, mate.

If you are exporting from blocs then the files are named in a way that mean LP automatically picks these up.
If you are not using blocs and importing in bulk then you can specify the key and tempo for all the samples in one go.

  • Cool. Thanks once again. All my near doubts are gone. Time to wait for the discounts ;)

  • They arrive! Check the store! ;)

This is a great tip, thanks. I just had a look at filenames and the the name format seems to be like this: [Project name] [bpm] [key]-[file number].*

Example: Blocs Wave test 130bpm Em 1-1.wav

What is interesting, it looks like you can also specify loop types. For example, if a file name contains word synth, the file type becomes not imported but melodic. Would love to find more info on this and wonder why Blocs Wave does not use this feature when exporting loops

  • Love the Acoustic guitar pack!

Good spot on the type naming :)

  • @blocsxnovation how much longer is the sale gong on? I've got $8 left in my iTunes credits and still trying to decide what to buy.
