    • Hook (gonna throw this in as a wild card for easy grabbing of samples from Spotify)

Is there any way to sample from Apple Music or Napster (née Rhapsody)? Thinking about dumping the service formerly known as Rhapsody for Apple Music, but if Spotify is the only one that can be sampled, might have to consider it

  • Agree on most of these. I might switch a few out for Mobeius Lab, DRC, Finger Fiddle and Model15

I am shocked not to see FLUX PAD!

    My God.

My opinion is FLUX PAD is the app of the year for creativity!

That is my partner app for Samplr my true creative approach to things.

    AUM of course.

Fluxpad breaks the piano roll. I dig that but I get the impression not many others do. It was also buggy on launch.

  • Drum Session
    Blocs Wave
    Cubasis 2
    Auria Pro
    Soft/Funk/Rock Drummers
    iWaveStation
    Oddyssei
    Addictive Pro
    Model 15
    Infinite/Aleph Looper

These are the my mostly used apps and those that truly have made a difference in my IOS music making journey. :)

AUM - Best music tool on iOS to bring it all together.
DRC - Great synth with it's own organic feel.
ARP ODYSSEi - Quality synth from Korg.
Lofionic Duplicat - Nice AU effect.
iWAVESTATION - Still haven't explored this much, but seems much improved over previous versions for patch making.

Adding these two recently purchased AUs to the list, because they are not only good, but a joy to use in AUM:

    DDMF 6144 NeveEQ
    DDMF Envelope Reverb

Still not a top ten, but getting closer!

Two more to add, the Ruismaker drum machine AUs:

    Ruismaker
    Ruismaker FM

Nice little apps, handy to be able to use in AU hosts.

  • My overall number 1 app of 2016 is AUM without a doubt.
Even on the tiny iphone SE screen it works brilliantly and is easy to use.
Helped to establish the AU format on iOS.
A quick way of jamming and recording multiple apps but with advanced midi control.
Great for working alongside a DAW like Ableton Live.

Not that there aren't a few extra things I hope it gets in the future ;)
