  • Has anybody tried ChordMaps2 with Neo Soul Keys Studio? I cannot get them to talk to each other. Navichord works with Neo Soul Keys Studio, but this one doesn't. ChordMaps2 talks to iElectric Keys & Korg Module great, so I. Wondering if it Neo Soul Keys Studio?....

I agree that there's gotta be something different. Beings that BM3 is here to stay in my tool box, I'm sure one day I'll figure it out.

Did you disable Omni midi channel input in settings ? If not only the selected bank will always listen to all channels. If you want individual banks to listen to different channels you must disable that setting.

No, it wasn't disabled. I proceeded to disable, but now I get no sound at all. This seems familiar, I remember going through this when the update with the midi omni came out. I have the midi options for the pads containing the instruments set to whatever the bank settings are, so as to simplify my trouble shooting. And in bank settings, i have each bank set to listen on Network Session and whatever the corresponding channel is in Chordmaps2. For bank output, the au3's aren't listed, so i have none selected; however, i did try network session as well. Except for Nave, it's the only one i can select as bank output port. But even then, still no response even though the channels all agree.

If you toggle ‚Beatmaker 3‘ for Input device in bm3 Midi settings, plus for Destinations in Chordmaps 2, you can select 'All' for bm3 bank midi setup input port.

Success! Thanks. Changing everything to all for the bank midi setup resolved everything. Oddly, this only works with omni on, which makes sense coming from a midi background; but according to intua, 'omni on' affects selected pads only. So according to that logic it shouldn't even be working this way. Whatever, I'm a happy camper now
