I already have Auria Pro. I really need Cubase?

Try the free version Cubasis LE - see if you dig it. A lot of people have both and prefer Cubby

  • I own both. Prefer to doodle in cubasis before sending it to auria Pro.

It depends what you like and what your needs are. I gave some thoughts on page 3, But of course, not everyone agrees, and I wouldn't expect them to. The DAW Wars is a hot topic in the audio community, and will likely continue as long as they exist.

I love AP, everything ends up there, but I'm glad to have Cubasis, a very fine noodler....

Exactly, and I've been both people, painful to admit that I'd spent all that money, and prefer the other one, at least for now.
