OT: Quickfire Round: What music-y thing would you spend $100+ on next (not apps)
Not quite birthday, but close enough that Madam is asking for ideas (I have many), but reckon I could get a little music-related thingie thrown in along with the usual socks.
Already have a mic I like for now, a Keystep and a Circuit. If you had those but were going to splurge a little (OK, let's say -at a push- we might even go upto 150 ish....) what would be first on your list?

Turns most USB and/or MIDI controllers into a wireless BlueTooth device.
Mr JGY these are my picks:
** VolcaSample for hands-on excellence and p-lock awesomeness
** Monotron Delay to run your existing devices through for gritty dub-tasticness
** Pocket Operator(s) of your choosing for stoopidly portable fun
** Any combination of any of the above =
Bluetooth mini keyboard like the Nanokey Studio?
Akai bluetooth controller

Drum Brute- jammed on one for 2 hours with sub phatty yesterday -- really cool drum machine
"I have many". Madams or ideas? Because that would have a profound effect on the response.
If I were to channel Mrs. Goodyear (a fearful idea), her wordless response (a blessing) would go something like...
People seem very keen on the blue-tooth controllers. I'm presuming it's because I've never used onr that I'm missing the benefits. Seems as though it's just a matter of not being wired? Really that big a deal? Again, forgive my ignorance...
Drum Brute does look like the biscuit, but I'm not much of a drummer, so probably would be wasted on me.
Again, bluetooth really makes a big difference?
Very interested in the Volca. The Son does have a Launchpad Mini which he only somewhat uses (now that Christmas is long passed). I wonder if that might not do something similar. BUT I do like the reviews, which I read after your prompting. The limitations (as I've discovered with the Circuit) are attractive... and I seem to be heading more and more towards lofi (which seems appropriate for things concerning heartbreak etc).
Nothing worse than a flapjack to the face. Serious note: What about a turntable? Albums are back and I'm sure you remember the tactile joy and dopamine rush of peeling that plastic cover off of a new record.
Very pretty. If I can get my brain around the benefits of bluetooth (see above) it would be an interesting (and highly portable) choice....
I miss albums. Really do. The whole thing of them, their acquisition and their completeness. Usual stuff. Should be said that the aforementioned flapjack flipper bought one of those small portable 'record players' a while back. I trawled the Goodwill stores of Austin (of which there are many and in which the pickings are very good) and brought her a stack of crazy/good old albums. We set the thing up in the kitchen for a while and played through the collection like young lovers making dinner etc. It wore off and she tried to give the machine away (to Goodwill of course) which led to a free and frank exchange of views. Long story to fill you in on the fact that asking her now to buy me a posher version would/could be interpreted (surely not!) as some sort of editorial marital judgment. Not young lovers anymore, I guess.
Guitar lessons.
No, never!
Probably a keyboard MIDI controller of some sort - not too big, but with sliders and knobs that work probably with my iPad synths.
Something you can tap, strum, stroke or blow which results in a symphony to record with your mic.
Nanokey Studio and a USB cable!
(Particularly if you are a keen Gadgeteer)

Are you okay for little mixer-type things?
Second hand launchcontrol xl
Beer and Striptease.
I suspect this contains nuts.
@TheVimFuego
Johny loves monochrome pictures (not sure about this one).
How many Madams do you have
There is only one thing that springs to mind for me - and that would be a Roland TB-3 (not 03)- maybe second hand to keep within your price range.
Behringer BCR2000?
Kaosspad mini 2s?
Trouble in airports right here Or on the back or the bus or while waiting outside of department store changing rooms. Shame (apart from the method) that I have so little rhythm....
Do you have a pair of big, studio headphones?
Or, a Bugbrand Board Weevil.
Wow. That looks very cool and completely out of my league Something to aspire to.....
