    ME TOO.

I'll try to do one this weekend hopefully:-)

  • Reinstalled and set DRum Session to receive on All Mdi Ports and channel set to Omni. Then KRFT was able to send midi to DS sounding as a great drum sound module!

  • No vid yet, but wow this has potential, I have KRFT running with IWAVESTATION and Thor through Audiobus 3 saved as a preset in Audiobus, load and everything worked....

I can't wait until they work out AB3 MIDI support--it'll be so easy and powerful!

So, you can insert midi busses and it shows up in Audiobus? Like , six midi busses showing in AB3?

  • What's been interesting is comparing the onboard sounds to sending MIDI out. While I can get much more diverse sounds and samples from MIDI out, the internal sounds really do hold their own in many cases.

Yah i have been mixing both, particularly pads n bass.

Just working on this, should be available next week in the beta :#

  • Were you able to inset KRFT in the first slot of AB3 midi lane?

No, that's what @Alex fox is working on and it will be fantastic!

  • OMG!!!,!,
Finally was able to get KRFT to stay solid with GeoShred and Drum Session:

    Try this setup:

  • Drum Session playing as a Drum module wow what beautiful drums!

  • Thought i'd signed for the beta, would love to give this a try. Where do i sign up? Be happy to somw testing with iCM2 and Studiomux. :)

Ok here you go, first instrument is iWAVESTATION alto sax, blue colour, second instrument Thor, colour orange, with filter dial. From the start with no apps open. All other sounds KRFT. Using Audiobus 3 and AUFX space on an iPad mini retina.

  • Thanks @KlaatuNinja I enjoyed that.

I've got KRFT talking to Beathawk in AUM! Here are the steps:

    1. Launch AUM and load an instance of the Beathawk AU in the input in channel 1.
    2. Open the Beathawk AU panel and click on the orange squigly arrow icon in the top left of the panel.
    3. Select 'AUM destination' as a midi source.
    4. Open KRFT.
    5. Create a midi channel and select 'AUM' as destination.
    6. Voila!
    7. Now go buy the new 'acoustic drums' pack in Beathawk, load the first preset which gives you a full drumkit with multiple velocities layers on each piece of the drumkit. This is the best sounding and easiest to use way to create realistic drumkits in my opinion.
    8. Have fun!

I'd love to see a video of a acoustic drum kit sounding nice if you have time!

  • @Maarten thanks for the tip! Working for me too...

Hey guys. For those of you on the beta there's a slack channel I invited everyone to so we can all chat in one place. Might be useful for those of you having issues. Check your emails for the invite!

    Can anyone get KRFT>Studiomux>PC working?

    Thumbjam>Studiomux>PC works...
    KRFT >Animgoog works...

    I have done KRFT>studiomux>Mac

Oh hey I got it to work now! As long as I send to the Studiomux port from Krft and then recieve the Studiomux port on PC all is well. Wooohooooot!

  • @KlaatuNinja Superb - thanks for that. Lovely tune and very nicely done.

  • Does Beathawk have multiple outs? Would love to mix the various drums in a separate channel inside AUM. Anyone know what other drum app allows this?

  • Anyone tried it with Drum Perfect Pro? I just did and it worked had up to 16 separate audio channels setup in AUM but I can't figure out how to get KRFT's keyboard to send to the right drum parts in DPP. Here's some pics of the drum setup in DPP: @Alex fox is there way to be able to adjust the keyboard in KRFT to send to desired notes?

  • So far of all the setups on my Air 1 the most stable and consistently dependable is within Cubasis hosting KRFT, GeoShred, and KRFT sending the midi drums to the internal mini sampler mits inside Cubasis, rock solid!

I love these krft beta threads. I feel like a little kid who awaits his weekly radio program, or comic book in the mail, or krft beta tester reports.

  • Stay tuned uploading a short video! :o

I get way more excited supporting the indie devs who are pushing out the updates and listening to the community compared to waiting for the next bloated release from a big name.

Same for mobile gaming right now, it reminds me of the 80s when there was a legion of bedroom coders releasing quirky shareware (anyone remember that?).

The big thing these days is, of course, the Internet that accelerates the process. And also shortens the attention span, induces analysis paralysis, creates unrealistic user expectations, etc, etc ...

Overall it's a great time to be into this stuff though.

Gee I waffle sometimes ... Long weekend, coffee on the go, sun shining, chickens, dogs, horses doing their thing, house paid off, the sound of nuclear Armageddon not happening ... Life could be worse ... Where is that Samplr update? Nothing. My life is ruined. ;)
