Kudos to Living Memory for the update and to @RedSkyLullaby and @brice for the new sounds: First tier stuff for a first tier synth!

    This app update on the latest iOS version, iPad Pro 9.7 has gone very buggy. Doesn't like loading up a lot of the presets including Red Sky's . Instant crash. I also wish you could change the black only skin as it's hard to see in some lights.

    Maybe try a full reinstall. Though no crashes Air2

    Hmmm, I haven't experienced this. Are ALL those settings from your screenshots missing? I'd try an uninstall / reinstall and see if that clears it up. But make SURE to backup any presets you've made beforehand!

    3rd Reinstall solved it. Weird.
    But now crashing on the new presets. Air 1 latest.

    @MusicMan4Christ did you have it set for iPadPro interface on a non-ipad pro? I could see how that might cause a crash. Shouldn't, but I can see how if the default is set for ipadpro and there's not enough screen real estate, it could be a crash bug.

    Dang it. I wanna buy this one. Was hoping maybe the dev would have a little sale. But since he's not, I'm sticking to my only buying when I can do so with discounted itunes cards. Yes, I know this one is worth full price, but I simply HAVE to place some kinds of rules and deterrents on my trigger happy app buying. So, alas... this one will have to stay on the store shelf until there's a good sale, or some discount iTunes cards. I've been looking and haven't found any, and there haven't been any good deals in a good while, so maybe some will drop soon. Fingers crossed. :)

    Yeah by default it's set to the iPad Pro option. I think that was the issue but not sure.

    This mega synth is worth it man, seriously, even at full price.

    I know it is, but I can't just keep pulling the trigger on every app I want. I've got to set some deterrent roadblocks for myself, however ineffective they may be. ;)

    I've got loads of cool synths to play with anyway. In particular, the beta of Mood needs some more quality time spent with it. Might just play with that one instead while I readjust my seating up here on the fence. This one can wait until there's a sale on the app, or a discounted sale on itunes cards. In the meantime, enjoy.

That sometimes happens ;)

    Uh-huh... ;) I'll get this one eventually I'm sure, but I've bought about 4 or 5 new apps in the last week alone. Need a little breather. And, I like all of them I've purchased and should spend a little time getting to know them better before I bring a new gal home.

    For what it's worth, trying out your's and @RedSkyLullaby 's presets are contributing to me nearly loosing control of my willpower. :)

    Willpower has a very small chance of winning when it's up against the sound you hear when you play 24 incrementally detuned sawtooth oscillators. And good god that was positively the nerdiest thing I've ever said. But believe me, I've seen WAY more sunrises since LayR was released.

    HOWEVER....your willpower is certainly commendable. And from what I gather, LayR is really just getting started, and has an exciting roadmap for the future. And don't quote me on this but I believe another update is coming soon.....some sort of "Link" thing maybe? Not sure what that is but it sure sounds cool ;) Perhaps at that point you will be due for your next purchase.
