That is the exact vessel. How on earth did Brambos travel back in time to sample it?
Can I beta test sir? design some presets for ya
Oh My (Star Trek Voice)
Are you implementing metal at all to keep the cpu down?
It's certainly giving ME the horn.
So stoked about this.
No, I want to keep my audio code portable. So no Metal for me right now.
For Troublemaker, Yes. For the others: no promises.
Too much information, not to mention inflammation.
.
I beg you please release it now
or maybe I could test it please ?
SWEET!
I dont think anyone is beta testing this lol
Need a beta tester? Looking and sounding very promising.
Love it.
Not testing yet; I reckon I need to have at least a rudimentary user manual to describe expected behavior...?
Aaaaaaaaargh
Yeah, the first patch I heard immediately made me put it in that category of apps where "surprisingly musical!" is somehow a compliment. But this is neat and lovely.
I wouldn't mind being thrown into the deep end of the pool.....
@brambos Apesoft's mood didn't have a manual for the first month of testing either. just saying
Someone was asking for a triple rack, like they have for the Mother32... As always AUM+AUv3 delivers
This is amazing. Is there some magic that could send CV between the instances using audio ? Just curious. One of the fantastic things of a triple rack is connecting them to each other. Or maybe you could bake in the ability in the standalone ?
crass
Heh... no, not in an intuitive way at least. The only thing that an AU instrument can send out is 2 channels of audio. So in theory you could make that one mono audio output channel and one audio channel to encode a CV signal into. But it's a clumsy hack that needs a lot of explaining, probably wouldn't work very well, and will just lead to lots of confused users (and 1-star reviews... "My right audio sounds completely distorted!") so I quickly gave that idea up.
So in this AUM setup it's just 3 instances of Ripplemaker listening to the same MIDI channels
I disagree. A manual can be very helpful (and inspirational, when well-written).
No, it's not rocket science, and experimentation is one of the key-pillars of the modular appeal.
But some things can be a bit hidden: like how to turn the slope-section into a second oscillator; or the fact you can do that in the first place.
That's a good thing, right? The intention was to go for 'analog FM' rather than Yamaha-digital-FM
