You could always make us enter some super secret code by pressing the letters of brambos in a particular order to unlock mono+CV mode. Pretty sure you yourself would want the secret mode to tinker with even more
i would also randomize hole nuts rotation position (patch points)
Yes, I've played with that. In the end I preferred the current middle ground between flat/minimalism and full-on skeuomorphism of the UI. The patchpoints are more a symbolic 'affordance' rather than a 3D recreation of a jack anyway, so keeping the current visual rhythm also helps keep the visual clutter in check.
Will output have a limiter?
There's a soft-saturator on the output to prevent clipping in a pleasing way. If you need anything more specific you'll need to do it in your DAW's channel strip or with a limiter plugin.
Wow this is trouble!!
the fact that this sequencer won't fit in AU mode is [redacted]
But at least it does have AB3 MIDI In+Out support now!
Plus if troublemaker gets the improvements to the sequencer that's 2 ab3 sequencers for those of us that own both
Absolutely. Once Ripplemaker is out, its sequencer upgrades will trickle down to Troublemaker too.
You sir have created a masterpiece here. Just got lost in messing with it for the last 1.5 hrs
Playing with the beta. Impressive that you've fit this into an iPhone version too. And I somehow missed that this is AUv3 too? Just had a play in AUM, spectacular!!!
yea. the fact that its an Aux is mind bloggling. so much fun to be had
And since it's an AU, you can even host it inside ZMors Modular for a meta-modular experience
or send it into model 15 via audiobridge using aum
Damn you. I'm not into modular synthesis, cables and wires, or teal for that matter, and I'm still probably going to own this.
I really love it man Thanks. This app is fun to play with and sounds great
It's not really the place for this and I'm almost certain it'd be out of the question, but just a quick thought:
Any chance of letting us put audio signals through the filters of Troublemaker? I would love to use it on my bass guitar.
Bram... I'm wondering if you ever check yr private messages on this forum?
This just shows how selfish you are being whilst totally lacking any self awareness. Because YOU have been doing this for 20 years and know your way around a synth- you think it is okay to insult other people (albeit in a juvenile manner) who may not have as much experience as you- who may be required to refer to instructions in order to help them work out what they are doing.
If you think you can get through life without instruction/ study/research etc- then might I suggest- it is more likely than not that it is actually you who is the 'loser'
Some of the best fun to be had with modulars is to just pluging cables and seeing what happens. Sure. A manual would help a lot. But relying on it completely is missing out on the experimental fun of it all
A manual is in the works. And everyone is free to not read it
I'll try not to read it, but I can't promise that I won't read every word of it before I even purchase the app.
Oh I'm definitely gonna Read all of it.
Those tiny hints you gave me via pm have shown just how deep this thing is
I'm still trying to crash it! I will succeed lol
I love to read manuals. I'm disappointed when a new purchase doesn't come with a nice printed manual to leaf through.
Had a lovely couple of hours last night just plugging this in an out on the beta. Lovely sounds. @Brambos, I know this semi modular synth approach is all about experimentation but I would like some sort of intelligent patch randomiser (save me the time of randomly plugging things). Also in the sequencer, could we have a way to disable the scales selection? Seems like too many button presses when I just want to hit a random pattern. Thanks
