  • Has anyone experienced any problems with Infinite in Cubasis, after reloading a session it won't load Infinite if it was using IAA and when using the AU version it won't recall my preset.

Yeah I'd tried the ccs before and for some reason still can't control the morph or noises via
midi using 16,17,18 and 19 but I can control them with the built in lfos.
So think there might be a bug here. I can get it to move the morph cursor if I repeatedly tap
the trace button, but can't get continual movement. Anyone else successfully control it?

    Have tried with midiLFOs

You should report it! I bought MiniMapper the same day after being blown away by inifinite. Really like MiniMapper quite a bit too, more than I thought I would. However, the x/y pads aren't working. I reported it via email & their Facebook page yesterday and they've already responded that they hadn't caught the bug caused when they took it to 64bit, and will have an update that fixes it in a few days.

Yes I will, just wanted to confirm it's a bug unless I've done something wrong or I've missed something. :)

I just tested cc 16 and 17 using MIDI LFO's and they seem to work fine using AB3 and standalone. I did notice the cursor dot in the XY moves each time you press it which might be what you have seen and the tracer isn't moving all the time however, as soon as I press a key on the keyboard the tracer dot can be seen moving around the XY pad.

Ah yes, same here, for some reason this wasn't happening earlier when I was sending midi notes and not using the keyboard, but will try again later :) ta

Yeah, that's actually why I contacted them. I wasn't really reporting a bug, just asking if I was doing something wrong. They replied fairly quickly (given the time difference) that it was indeed a bug they'd missed from the last 64bit update. Given what you're possibly seeing as a bug is part of the x/y pad, wonder if it's the same issue that I discovered in MiniMapper?

no I think it is working, I'd just before not realised you had to press the trace button to reveal the ghost green marker which is the one driven by midi.

  • We have some amazing synths on iOS now but Wolfgang never ceases to amaze me

This is just so good. The only bad thing (not really) is it's so easy to get lost in tweaking sounds that i will end up with something entirely different to what i set out to make

Cool. I hadn't tried midi in infinite yet.. other than sending it notes.

Was mostly mentioning that I got a swift reply to my inquiry by this developer, that confirmed the bug and statement that it'll be fixed in a few days. That's comforting and makes me want to explore the other PPG apps the next time I get some extra app store credit to burn. :)

Yes they are really quick when a fault is discovered. Can't really fault infinite as an app really. One of the most pro synth apps ever.

Holy smokes! They already fixed it. Update just came up. Sweet :)
