Great purchase
Buying rest of your apps at the weekend
Sweet
what is the next audiodamage effect coming out and when?
audio damage. an idea for another app. can you take this configuration, and have each step control an envelope that will modulate and send out cc data to other apps. so for example when each block(step) is played; depending on the envelope of each block, It will send a cc to say an pitch range, or cutoff frequency, etc. I guess kind of like Cyclop synth has in it.. maybe? keep up the great work
aww really? that sucks. thanks for the tip. i did not know that
Awesome pumping shenanigans... thanks
sweet thanks for this!
Want>Need. Always.
I made a little overview video, with the most obvious use-case.
Saw the post on twitter and immediately bought it...was smiling from ear to ear in less than a minute.
It’s perfect!!
This is good oldfashioned fun. And it feels a lot more entertaining than setting up a sidechain.
Great! Looks like at minimum this will be fun to play with. Already thinking of easy experiments with this outside of its main intended uses. Sold!
Wow ios music production is getting better by the day
AUM with a loop thru Pump House -> Dubstation 2 -> QuatroMod > EOS2 or any other combination is quite entertaining
+1 for that
At the risk of adding to the echo chamber ... super simple to use, super useful.
I was going to complain about it not working in AUM but then remembered to press Play on the transport.
Did not even look at the price before mashing the Buy button.
(Edit) I did get a situation where the standalone version was opening from AUM instead of the AU but I can't seem to reproduce it.
It's a pretty thing and I really appreciate the video. Clear and encouraging etc. Off to have a stumble.
Purchased every Audio Damage app & this is in the same category, excellent & unreal. Seriously, I have friends who use desktop DAWs and the Audio Damage plugs were put over big-time by them. I had seen the name but didn't know the line or brand very well, now a few months later I'm a huge fan.
You're on a serious roll @Chris_Randall, we all are giving you such effusive feedback for a simple reason...these AU's are that good. And one dude I showed them too was incredulous that the $5-6 prices were mistakes until I learnt him the iOS app pricing differences. Just incredible bang for buck.
This happens almost every time.
Does someone have such problems ?
iPad Pro 12.9
If you just recently installed the plugin. Try an iPad restart before trying to use the plugin.
Didn't pick it up yet but I'm planning to - I can see the value in such a simple and effective tool. I did grab EoS yesterday as I needed a deeply tweakable Reverb in AU and AUFX are taking their time.
I'm interested to play with Pumphouse 'creatively' by running multiple instances that can trigger on/off by MIDI toggle (that's a thing, yeah?) and assigning them different envelopes and compressor settings to get different kinds of rhythmic pumping texture. Could be fun to use it in combination with AUFX:Push's audio triggered side chaining !!
Oh yeah just quickly - @Chris_Randall there's some issue with naming of one AU parameter in Dubstation:
AUv3 loads so quickly I don't mind restarting it. My current projects contains about 12 AUv3 instances and to IAA Apps (Synthmaster and Sunrizer) and BM3 always first crashes to the home screen when opening all up because of the IAA instances. Just give it a couple of seconds, reload project, voilà everything in place as it should. Don't mind actually...will improve over time, I can already make desktop grade quality trance productions with this. Haven't switched on Live, Bitwig and Reason since Beatmaker 3 came about.
Reinstall
Maybe it help
Hi @Chris_Randall , congrats on the new release! Keep em coming. Kombinat soon perhaps???
Just to let you know: Pumphouse as an AU doesn't respond to Auria's clock, at least in my setup (iPad Pro 10.5, 10.3.3). I wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong but I checked and it works perfectly in Aum.
By the way, I had dinner with a friend in the real world the other day - it was an awesome surprise to discover that he has been following your blog for some time, and it was cool to have a chat about your effects and instruments (which I discovered and bought over the last week or two), plus check them out on the iPad.
I might try this on some rhythm guitar tracks, would be a nice way to get unusual My Bloody Valentine-esque results.
Love to hear some samples
Could a tech approach like this be used to create a rudimentary Drum sequencer hosted in an AU?
