Auria/Twin 2 - I think I found out something very interesting.
That sould be of interest of anyone who already has Twin 2 on the Desktop and have been struggling to accept the quantity of presets of Auria’s Twin2 being severy limited unless you buy extra preset packs and yet these presets fall short of exploring the full potential of the synth, being far less inspiring than the Desktop version’s one.
It all began with a huge annoyance: i’ve been using iOS 11 beta, and it’s not quite stable, so more than once I found myself having to reinstall Auria and restore all my content with iFunBox. The last time I did, having iFunBox connected to the iPad, showing Auria’s document folder while I was restoring my purchases, which included a Twin 2 pack, when the said pack showed as “extras.zif” in the document folder. Eureka! They seem to become hidden after a install, so I seized the opportunity and copied the strange file to the Desktop and, following a guess, I renamed the extension to .zip and - to my amazement - it worked: I was able to access the internal structure of the file, which was simply the folders Presets> Twin 2> Extras, and inside the most internal folder, a lot of .ftp files!
Therefore, if you have Twin 2 installed on your Windows/PC machine - I don’t! - it should be just a matter of locating your Twin 2 presets, copy all of them to a previously created Twin 2 folder that should be placed inside a Presets folder, then compress the file into a .zip, rename it to a .zif (not sure if this step is really necessary but just to err on the safe side) and put it inside Auria’s documents folder using iFunBox. Next time you creat a MIDI track, check out if all of your cool desktop presets are there - they should be already, but I cannot test it since I don’t have Twin 2 on my Mac.
Enjoy, and let me know if this hack actually works!

Interesting
Did you test it?
Nice find
I don't have Twin 2 on mac so i can't test it
I did buy all the extra presets in Auria but one thing bugs me. Is it not possible to save an init preset so it's available in the preset list in Auria?
I don't like having to select some random preset, open Twin 2 and then select default sound
That minor annoyance aside, it's still one of the best sounding iOS synths in my opinion
No.
I just tested in a friend's studio, he happens to have both Desktop (Mac) Twin 2 and Auria Pro. It worked, as I predicted! But the presets won't appear in Twin 2's GUI: you have to load them from the MIDI track's sound selection, @Gratouilli . I guarantee it works, and I'll ask him for a screen shot later to post here.
P.S.: and it worked with One as well, FYI!
@theconnactic, how did you proceed exactly ? I should have missed something...
Created a folder called Presets. (EDIT: inside the folder presets, create a folder called FabFilter). Inside the FabFilter folder I created another folder called Twin 2. I moved the Desktop presets inside this folder, in their own folders ("Lead", "Keys" etc). The ones that weren't inside any folder I moved to a folder I created called Rogue inside the Twin 2 folder (very important, because ftp files that aren't inside folders won't show up).
Then I compressed it, the parent Presets folder, that is, and renamed the .zip file extension to .zif and then moved it to Auria's document folder using iFunFox, and they all showed up after I started Auria.
Are you on Windows? Perhaps the files on Windows work differently, while iOS is essentially OSX for ARM. But even Windows Twin's presets should work, since they are the same ftp format, so double check you do the steps exactly as described. I'll post the screenshots as soon as my friend sends me.
I've just tried now... with no luck :
1. I've created a folder called "Presets" on my Mac's desktop
2. In this "Presets" folder, I've created a folder called "Twin 2"
3. In this "Twin 2" folder, I've created a folder called "SoundsFF"
4. I've copied all my Twin 2´s (desktop version) presets directly in this "Twin 2" folder
5. I've compressed the first folder called "Presets"
6. I've changed it's extension to .zif via the file info window
7. I've copied this "Presets.zif" file in the Auria's document folder on the iPad using iFunbox
8. I've opened Auria Pro and created a midi track in a new project
9. In the presets list of the midi track, nothing more than the defaults Twin 2's presets appears.
10.
Well, wait for the screenshots, perhaps they help you a little.
@Gratouilli: Between Presets and Twin 2, there should be a folder called FabFilter. My mistake. Here's the screenshot as promised:
@theconnactic : THANKS ! It works, but I had to copy/delete the Presets.zif file several times in iFunbox before I see Auria telling me "Decompressing files" and... bingo ! The presets are here ! And they also appear in Twin 2's GUI alongside the default ones
THX!ALOT!
and also,You can install "fabfilter one" preets.(^^)v
Enjoy!
I don't have the desktop version. Anyone willing to message me a DropBox link to the zip file?
Pretty please?
You can get ALL FabFilter Factory Presets at here

...and the clouds parted and a light shone down. And it was good.
AWESOME! Thank you!
Remeber that it theoretically also will work with FabFilter One!
I must say that with all presets loaded, Twin 2 bests all of the other iOS synths hands down. Check out the drums, worth some playing!
I'm following the instructions to the letter but AP is not decompressing the zif file. Any thoughts?
Restart Auria Pro!
Yup... nope! Tried deleting and re-copying the zif file multiple times, restarting AP, rebooting iPad... no joy.
Strange. Double-check your steps. Be sure the folder structure looks exactly like the screen shot I posted. Good luck!
Folder structure I'm using:
Auria/Documents/Presets/FabFilter/Twin 2/Twin 2.zif
No, it’s wrong!
On your Mac/PC - create Presets/FabFilter/Twin 2/drag here all of your preset folders. Compress the top folder (Presets) because it contains all the others. Change the name from Presets.zip to Presets.zif
Drag the zif file using iFunBox to the Auria Documents folder. Don’t try placing it on any specific place - only drag it to the Documents folder and let Auria work after it’s there. Good luck!
Yay, it's there, created a new project and it started decompressing.
Thanx @theconnactic :]
Woohoo! Got it too... needed to create the new project!
Thanks for this!
Enjoy!
Slightly off topic... but of the extra Twin2 presets, I only have the Ambient ones. I love those!
Was going to grab the Space presets, but concerned it might be too cheesy. Can anyone comment on the Space Twin2 presets?
Thanks! Going to play with this later, good thread.
