  • The procedure of @theconnactic is correct. Just be careful to download the “factory preset” and not the “ FabFilter Twin 2 Extras” that is not working...(I made this mistake at first)

  • I was able to pull this off using AudioShare and the Files app in iOS 11!

    Thanks!

Please - I've been wanting to do this forever but can't quite seem to get it right using iTunes.

    1. I made a folder called “Presets” inside of AudioShare.
    2. Inside that folder I made a Folder called “FabFilter”
    3. I unzipped the FabFilter presets and put all of the folders inside the “FabFilter” folder that I made.
    4. I then long pressed the “Presets” folder that I made and zipped it into an archive.
    5. I then renamed the archive to read “Presets.zif” (make sure you uncheck keep extension so that you can change the “.zip” to “.zif”)
    6. I then long pressed that file and exported it to the Auria folder inside of files (located in the “on this iPad” section of files
    7. Opened Auria and started a new project (you must start so this for it to unzip)
    8. Started going through massive amounts of dope Presets!
    9. Bonus...it also gave me new presets for all of my other FabFilter plugs!!!

This is truly a gift!!!! Thanks so much!

By the way do you have a link to the correct files to download? I was told that some don’t work. Thanks!

  • I found them here... https://www.fabfilter.com/support/downloads/factorypresets.zip. Then used “open in” and chose AudioShare

  • You rock brotha! If you get more please let us know!

  • @thatguysmitty You nailed it - worked perfectly first time through. Thank you so much - you just saved me hours of diddling around on my PC to try and get this to work!

That’s pretty much the Motherload of presets contained in that zip! I still have not been through them all!

    Blessings brother!

  • Awesome! Blessings! :)

My pleasure! Always glad to help out fellow music folk!

  • Finally got around to looking at this. Worked well. Opened my eyes to Twin!

  • Not surprised that this worked so much as I’m surprised that I was able to follow the instructions and get it to work. Twin 2 is one of my faves. Thanks @thatguysmitty!

  • When I first saw @theconnactic’s thread last year it intrigued me but I just didn’t want to mess with my PC & iFunBox. Seeing @thatguysmitty’s method using the Files app made me jump to it however, and I’ve been amazed with the Twin 2 presets. I’ve always dug the Auria synths but they are a bit weird to program, having a cool preset to tweak to taste is preferred.

The other presets for the plugins are welcomed too, real cool. Thanks guys for making the Fab synths “new” again.

  • Glad this method worked for you all! Twin is becoming one of my fav iOS synths. It’s too bad it’s only available in Auria...but, it’s pretty deep and sounds incredible!

Word! Super thanks to @theconnactic for bringing this to light!

  • Thanks smitty and connactic! Worked like a charm.

  • @theconnactic
Thank you so much for this.

  • Bugger - for me didnt work. The files did decompress but they are not showing up in the Fabfilters :)
I used the presets from the 2024 presets link on their website - maybe they knew about this and did something to them?

Anyone want to share their working .zif file with me?

  • Thank you, all fixed
