Ding ding!
Lol, we can certainly hope so.
I am having a scrolling issue on IPad Pro 1st gen. I can’t get the keyboard to lock into place regardless of whether keyboard the lock is on or not. I contacted the dev and opened a ticket and they responded that I need to send them a video about it. Not terribly helpful CS by this dev.
IK makes some real nice stuff but their customer service amounts to take a ticket,. Send a video is a new one to me though. That would definitely piss me off if they sent me a message like that.
There’s a bug that if you scroll the keyboard, the first time you touch a control the keyboard scrolls back to its initial position.
Stuck keys over here too
Stuck keys and (even more importantly here) inability to turn knobs to precise target amounts. Will type Support too.
Thanks, Mark B, good to know. I just can’t get the keyboard to stay and lock in place. Tritonman, yes their reply did P.O. me. I hope that they get these various issues sorted soon as contacting them over it is a big hassle with their lackluster CS.support system. Maybe one of their peeps will see our posts here and actually do something about our collective issues.
It is still a good idea to provide direct details to the team. I am merely trying to point people in the right direction that will get the fastest resolution.
Here is the reply I just received from IK regarding stuck notes:
"This may occur depending on how many fingers there are making contact to the screen. This is because there are gestures in iOS, that are made via 4 finger swipe.
We are currently working on the first patch for Syntronik for iPad, which addresses the behavior of both onscreen keys and MIDI controllers. We anticipate releasing it soon. So once this new version is available, please update to resolve this!"
Ahhhh, finally!
Hope we don’t have to redownload 5 gigs again
So far, aside from knob precision issues, everything is working pretty good here on Air 2.
With a video they can see exactly what's happening which helps them to debug their code and fix the problem sooner.
Anyway sending a video should be easy now on iOS 11
Yes, but they could actually play the app on an iPad. I’m sure it’s easily reproduceable. I have the same problem- latest os iPad 10.5
So people can make music with it? I mean, maybe I'm crazy, but I thought that was the point.
@ikmultimedia Just out of curiosity...
Does IK Multimedia have any plans to enable users to use 'Jam Points' (got €67 at the moment) to unlock sounds in the iOS version of Syntronik?
You may have to direct that question to the correct department.
Wonder what the price will be for the full sound set after the introductory price ends? I'm pretty tempted to get it now, I heard it was 4 gigs when yo get everything? people are saying....
Despite the disaffection with their customer service expressed by others and myself, the sounds are quite impressive. The effects are really good, but even with them off, it sounds pretty great. I typically like to program my own sounds from the ground up, so it was a bit of a leap for me. Programming sounds on a synth more satisfying to me, but you can still tweak these a fair amount.
For iOS (where everything is really cheap), it's a bit spendy. If you're interested in it, it may not pay to wait.
See if turning off multitasking gestures corrects the issue, I have them off and haven’t had issues in the limited interaction I had with it. But other apps have indicated to turn those off in your iPad settings, maybe it will help.
Hi, JamPoints are used to apply a discount to product available directly from IK. Since apps are sold by Apple in their store ecosystem we are not able to offer that loyalty program there since it is not our store.
I can’t get Syntronik to make any sound in AB3.
It works fine as a midi receiver in AUM... isn’t it AB compatible?
Nope! I already had multitasking gestures off. Hopefully it’ll be fixed in the next update.
Almost 5 GB to be correct... Much to love ;-)
No problem here to get sounds in Audiobus 3 from Syntronik...
iPad Pro 12.9” 2017 with iOS 11.0...
What about AU? This app would be an instabuy for me, but buying without AU seems foolish to me. I also wonder when and if Sampletank will ever support AU.
Same here. However AU has been promised. But based on the size of the instrument interfaces I feel its going to be a long time before they can pull this off. I’m focusing on the Noise AU for now.
