Based on my visit to Ireland several years back, I felt very welcome and overall very comfortable.

Out of curiosity, was this Northern Ireland or the Irish Relubkic you visited?

Irish Republic. We spent time in Cork as well and love the city. Loved Beamish too.

Mhmm, yes, we like Beamish too. Guinness, not so much. I am reminded of the old joke -

Has the bottom fallen out of your world?
Drink Guinness, and have the world fall out of your bottom. :#

  • I live in the ‘other’ Ireland, just by the Silicon Docks area of the city with all the major tech companies European HQs within a brisk 10 minute stroll. In fact I’m waiting in the lobby of the Facebook building as I type this!

This ‘ultra modern’ side of life here is also amazing. An incredibly energetic, very young and all round inspired and optimistic population who believe in the impossible. It’s infectious and very often a self fulfilling prophecy!

  • Murphys Stout from the tap, in Ireland (only) is my favorite beer / food ever. Funny, 'cause even just carting it across the channel to London changes it somehow, even from the tap. I miss the days when I used to travel to Cork regularly for business.

Fabulous country ... something about it that just pulls at the heart. Could be genetic - a great-great grandfather hailed from there.

Back OT ... loving SampleBot. It's a kick.

I bought this without knowing anything about it outside of picture and developer.
Don't think I've done that before.

I heard someone did this with early recordings of Brian Wilson, and he could be clearly saying
    "Help me Rhonda!"

    >

Mmm. Dennis Wilson, too. Who can be heard saying “Manson is the Devil.” ;)

And almost everyone else saying "Mike Love belongs with the Devil"

    LMAO

  • Export to individual tracks would be great!

Also +1 for some extra editing possibilities, nothing too fancy. Too much features add too much complexity and this would kill the original vibe.
Pitch, fade in/out would be nice.

Hmmm. A pretty simplistic app. As an imaschine owner was hoping for something extra

Despite using Maschine as my main DAW I've never got on with iMaschine. The beauty of Samplebot is it's ease of use, and the traditional timeline works better for me on a mobile device, than the pattern-type song construction of iMaschine, BM3 etc.

Personal preference, but I'll be using this one more.

Yep. Even I can get it right with SampleBot.

  • Well a little Fallon sure does help boost a sale or two :)

  • Is there a way to add more samples into the snare/hat/kick drum
kit? Also, can I do things like take a hat sample and paint it in the sequencer so that it can jump to 1/32 or 1/64, for example?

  • No, kits are 3-element only for now (I can see the appeal for more, I just want to keep things simple and fun with Samplebot). I didn’t quite understand your second question: do you mean can you manually add segments in the sequencer? If so, yep: just tap.
