Mutate and shuffle sounds interesting
This would be music mutation and not genetic, right?
I mutate into a monster when using it...
Stating the obvious
Yes this is a good observation and question. Sort of what I’m after too
Well as Andy is known to be a monsteranyway, that sounds double monstrous
Where’s that arrow down?
In the next update I’m adding tie functionality using the slide mechanism. Basically, adding slides of the same note will chain the notes into longer notes.
Excellent! That would be a function many I’m sure will appreciate
Off to the app store now, thank you
I see what you’re looking for now. Yeah the sequencer is not a comprehensive be all to all music styles. What I meant though is it’s usable within all styles really, if not able to sequence everything. But yeah you may need other devices to do certain things
Bassline has ties
Very good, Brambos gave the answer for what feature I was looking for
Thanks for your help! Much appreciated
Cool
So Numan sustained notes here I come lol
Good feature for sure
The funny thing is I probably play most lines in my music with any sustained notes as:
A. My playing skills are limited and I sequence the difficult or fast notes
B. I’m essentially lazy
C. I love to twiddle knobs on any sustained notes so I feel like Billy Currie lol
Gary would be proud of you!
I always remember an interview with Numan where he admitted he never realised he did that sustained note thang lol
Yes, but it still plays the tied bass notes as a series of notes with many synths, right (as Troublemaker does currently)? That is, it doesn't actually lengthen the first note.
A+B+C= Genius
Correct. So nice to see this is being expanded
Thang, haven’t heard that word in ages lol
Wow wow wow!!! Big smile!!!
Navichord Song Mode into Odessa driving Odessa Arpegiator driving Zeeon, with BassLine driving Bs-16i Bass Preset , Ruismaker with Xox!!!! Wow One Man Band is here!!!!
Thank you Brambos! Christmas is here!
I’m so behind the times lol
I once thang a thong.
So am I
and I thang it thwong
Ahh I see what you mean now, it took me a minute or two LOL....Erm, I don't think so at the moment, @brambos said more modules are on the cards, perhaps something is planned for this ?
@AndyPlankton the answer is here Monsignor
Adding a slide in bassline creates overlapping notes at the moment. I'll change the algorithm so that when you slide to identical notes (e.g. from C3 to C3) it will interpret that as a tie instead and let you chain notes into longer notes.
I like this approach because it lets you achieve more without adding complexity to the UI or workflow. And it doesn't require checkboxes or options that you forget the moment you close the settings panel.
Fun and funky
