Me2. This was actually fun, cheeeeesy, but fun.
Yes, they are 99¢ each, if I'm reading correctly. And all nine together are $5.99, which seems interesting and probably worthwhile, if only for Digitakt/sample fodder.
Sorry, I misunderstood your note.
That's kind of wonderful and disturbing stuff. The first one is very Angelo Badalamenti.
yessir
It’s out now in Canada anyways. It’s a groovy Labour of love time machine straight back to the early 70’s...Far Out!!!
It's here...the machine that almost destroyed The House of Barbie!
I'm loving its kitsch factor.
Almost everything I play on it sounds like it could be from the soundtrack of a 70s exploitation movie about hitchhiking teenage runaways and the truckers, van owners, and Camaro drivers who love them.
It is glorious, but is it showing up for anybody as inter-app audio? Can’t find it in AB3 or Cubasis.
Showing for me in Cubasis, latest iOS, first gen Pro.
Try restarting your device. I’ve had a couple of apps not show up after install. A restart fixed it. This never happened until recently.
Ah. Need to quit and restart Cubasis to find it. But it’s still not showing up in AB3.
@Max23
Pea Hicks and Steven Stenzel were involved in creating the iOptigan. Mr. Hicks also has ownership over some aspects of the Vako Orchestron. The early Orchestrons also have a mechanical connection to the Optigan.
If anyone's interested in an iOS Vako Orchestron, perhaps Mr. Stenzel and Mr. Hicks would consider creating one. Samples of the discs from an original Orchestron, as an app? Yes please.
For anyone unfamiliar with the sound of the Vako Orchestron, it's all over Radio.Activity by Kraftwerk.
Shows up in AUM and apeMatrix, but not AB3 for me either.
Aaahhh....eerie fun with this and Discord
Yup missing in AB3 for me also.
Quite a fun thing, looks like it's the same developer of Waldorf Attack too. I wonder what the midi ccs are for the switches.
Bought it and the IAP some time ago. Great fun to play with, although I don’t actually use the organ often...more just to sample the recorded bits. Free is a great price...you’ll probably realize pretty quickly whether or not you’ll want to pick up the IAP.
Also fun to try to recreate the bits from Low’s “Just Like Christmas” and Crowded House’s “ Chocolate Cake”.
I love it, but it's just driving me to write knees-up music hall beer garden songs...
I believe the "but" in that sentence should be "and".
Does anyone have the vox humana disc , the demo sounds interesting
Does anyone use the vox humana disc?
If you're a Velvets fan,
Classic Guitar and Hear and Now
are great for recreating a scratched up copy of
"The Third Album/The Velvet Underground/The Gray Album/However You Refer To It..."
It takes me right back to my teen years.
On a related note: The Estey Cottage Organ in Gay 90s Waltz sounds remarkably like Nico's harmonium.
It does not show up in AB3 for me either. Even after reinstalling both apps.
It shows up in AUM, but I can only hear audio with headphones, not the speaker.
If you are a bit slow like me, the "reverse" function is at the top of the page where you load the particular disc..."right side up/upside down"
Much fun!
Sorry too cheesy to take up the space. Already deleted.
Bad asssssss.
So cool.
I like it, like I like the mellotron stuff.
Probably have to be an old fart to fully appreciate this.
