Top of my wish list for BF are:
Fugue Machine
AUM
BM3
and anything else that looks like interesting and on sale
Maybe (i think: for sure!) it would be a good idea if Doug hosts (here and with his youtube channel) an overview about the black friday deals, combined with his affiliate links.
+1 to that. Should provide a few Christmas bonuses for him and Jo with any luck.
Luma Fusion, AUM, maybe that Ravenscroft piano or neo soul keys, IAPs for moog/model 15, Layr, Field/sound scaper and maybe everything else I don’t have lol
A new iPhone 6s 128gb and new tires for my car. Oh wait, that was today, after my just purchased at lease end 6s died yesterday, and the tires (actually will be getting those later in the week since I have a full size spare) because I got a flat on the way to the Apple store to get the dead phone looked at...then the key for the locking lug nut broke...it was that kind of day...so Black Friday? ‘Twas today for me.
Some devs did that a while ago, I bought some stuff I wouldn’t normally have just to show support. Chucking the affiliate links on here also seems like a good idea on the face of it.
Apple have kindly replaced my out of warranty Pro Brick free of charge so I may allocate some $ to a sales budget after all.
So, i have decided to spend a maximum of 28,75 Euro for the black friday sales. Last week i have done some overtime (6 hours) to justify the additional expenses and today (one hour before) i have bought a 25 Euro iTunes gift card with an additional 15 percent extra code.
Nave or Phonem. Hmm. Auria or Cubase. Or BM3. Maybe a Korg iOS Synth. Or/and some cheap surprise deals? Or...
Depends a bit on the rebate. Black Friday: You can come!!
Analog Solutions Fusebox
I can’t decide if I should get;
6144 equalizer by DDMF by Christian Siedschlag
Or the NoLimits AU Limiter by DDMF by Christian Siedschlag
Since lately I’m mostly on iPhone i need both of these but can only get one though, which one would you get as a priority must have.
Really interested in Cubasis. Just went on sale for $24.99
Wolfgang Palm is a living legend. I never could afford to buy any of his groundbreaking wavetable synthesis hardware and find it mind blowing I can purchase what is essentially those $25,000+ devices for 20 bucks a pop and use multiple instances as iOS AUs on my iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.
Cubasis is awesome. It is the DAW that I use. But it is a little behind on AU implementation if that matters to you. I'm sure an update is inevitable to address this very thing, if you are not needing AU automation or AU Midi (Odessa) that badly and can wait for it. If you already have AUM, it probably is a non-issue.
I almost always wait for sales, but I would happily pay the full $20 for those PPG apps. I wouldn't say that for a lot of apps though. But that Wolfgang Palm fellow is a living legend, after all.
I just bought it. I’d probbaly use it more for mixing stuff rather than creating. I can already tell BM3 is better suited for creating in my opinion. I was using Auria for mixing but there’s some tempo syncing AU issues that still haven’t been resolved and the UI is quite ugly to my eyes. Also seems like Cubasis will have waves plugins soon so I’m prepping for that
@YZJustDatGuy Isn't Auria the one with Fab Filter stuff that everyone raves about? I get what you mean about the UI though. I think that made me look elsewhere without looking too deep when I was looking for a DAW.
Oh yeah, thanks for the tip about incoming Waves stuff. I was unaware.
Yea and don’t get me wrong the Fabfilter stuff is amazing. Auria’s Clunky UI bothers the hell out of me. It just feels outdated honestly and the AU issues dont help. If Cubasis gains busses which I think they will, I probbaly won’t go back to Auria. Waves plugins will be a plus
I never regretted buying the full Fairlight version Peter Vogel CMI Pro.
It gives incredible insight to the Fairlight system. And I love the old sampler.
The Noisehorse list is just 2 simple things: 1- rewire my Telecaster so it won’t have the 60hz buzz.
2- build a large underground studio in my backyard, complete with a pool table and maybe a little fridge for chocolate donuts.
I did mine and put in the Lil59 humbucker so best of both world, tele and Gibson tones!
I have no doubt of that. But Waldorf did not come out to play, and these days I have to watch my budget.
No problem. I have a truck load of great apps already on my iPad, including most of the other highly rated synths. Very happy to have them, and all the other great stuff, such as Odessa.
One day, Nave will come my way.
PPG Infinite
Soundfruuze
My body and iTune$ account are ready!
Apps in Apps on Apps
Been waiting several years for Drumjam to offer a sale. I guess I should let go of that empty dream.
And I would pounce on Funk Drummer like a ravenous piranha, if that were ever dangled before me at any sort of discount.
I installed a Lil59 humbucker in the bridge position of a 60s Framus Jaguar knockoff, so best of both worlds, weirdass German surf tone and Gibson tone!
Move on with your life!
It and the IAPS really are worth every penny of the full price.
OOOh i thought about that one too...very interesting, but for saturation/distortion i thing i like the Elektron Analog Heat a little better...
One week without everything going horribly wrong.
Bite the bullet, Lady. You've been missing out on all that fun. Get the IAPs too. There is nothing else quite like Drumjam.
>
Yup. DrumJam is a wonderful app. The IAP’s, too, are reasonably priced and sound excellent.
