this will be boring to anyone who already has senode and is familiar with how to get things set up, but i made this for a friend and figured id share it here. just a basic walk thru setting up senode in aum to sequence two instances of mela, and scale quantized by rozeta scaler

for sure! i love using senode... it works really good on ios 14 as well

  • any news about the auv3 version?

  • I haven’t heard anything. I love the way this thing is designed and would use the au so much more

  • i am new to ios music-production... for me senode is one of the most interesting sequencers so far. but it's not cool to use it in aum. no clock-sync and annoying window hopping :/

  • It’s such an amazing sequencer. I just pinged Sebastian on his Twitter account to see if he’s coming back to the AUv3 note that he’s finished his PhD.

me too... but no answer yet...

  • It looks like he's working on the Auv3 version again 😊

  • Hallelujah! Here’s hoping it’s coming soon

    Would repurchase for AU :)

  • No need, AUv3 will be an IAP...which I'll gladly pay... :)

  • Wow, this is SO good as an AUv3...👍

Truly superb! This is the only app I know of on iOS that understands that musicians want to control the conditional logic of how a sequence mutates. I hope Sebastian can port this one to iPhone so senode can be my main squeeze sequencer.

  • So just to clarify, this is Auv3 now? But that’s an IAP, correct? So I could open it in AUM and use it like Zoa or Polybud to trigger several synths simultaneously?
I just discovered this, through @jakoB_haQ , and I read this whole thread from the start. The anticipation around AUv3 implementation was immense….but then a total anticlimax 🤔

  • Thanks @lasselu . Do you recall how much the IAP was, roughly?

  • 69 Swedish kroner so probably about five dollars...

FYI, iPhone support has been added too. Great sequencer!

  • Does Senode send out each node's velocity as a MIDI velocity value? Or does it just send Note On?

You can see the velocity values in a Midi monitor.
It sends Note On with the specified Velocity, and Note Off with Velocity 0.

All MIDI Note messages have a velocity value.

  • Got it. Thanks!

Here's a little thing with the Senode app into my modular. (Just got an Intellijel MIDI 1U module. I can see this will be fun.)

Has anyone tried to use Senode with Logic?

Nevermind. Answered! It works fine but there is no midi routing between tracks in logic ipad.
