    Okay, I've got it ALMOST all worked out! One thing I still can't figure out is how to set the octaves on the mpc style controllers for the AU units.

    You can play an AU synth with the pads, but I can't find a way to add a specific note to a pad, or even move higher or lower than the default octave.

    Anyone had any luck with this?

    When you have an au track selected and your in pad mode you change the octaves with the ABCD tabs above the pads.

    Right, but can you make that a higher or lower octave range? Bank A, for example, is pretty high for many basslines, and that's the lowest on the banks.

    For example, if I wanted A - D to be -1 to 2 rather than the current range

    +1 This would be a blast and even the sounds of the original iMPC.app would be practical to have access too.
    (I have extracted all the samples from iMPC but it's a chore to re-create the programs).

    Another real boon would be to make the original samples packs from the early MPC's available for purchase :)
    I mean those that came on floppies and things, that would make me make another visit to the AudioCopy content store and get me some packs...

    No worries, I think it's the 'news' regarding an upcoming version of AudioCopy 4 that haunts us all...

    Only @retronyms know when it's dropping...

    Ideal time for them to make export of stems for iPad without pc use. Yeah I would like them to use the Apple files app, but if they need to use AudioCopy, then as long as they make stems available for other apps, then cool.

    I can’t seem to get an IAA connection with this app and Auria Pro or Cubasis. The original pro version connects to the DAWs just fine as do other IAA apps. But with iMPC pro 2 the remote transport controls don’t even display. I even tried reinstalling. Somehow I remember similar flakiness with the original version (even though its working now). Very disappointing - or am I missing something?

    Same here. I have no luck in Cubasis or GB. Not good

    Yes, but it uses iLok software now, and MPC 2.0 Software ain't cheap. There is a 7 day demo, if you want to try it out.

    Anyone notice/mention upthread that IAA effects sends don’t (seem?) to work for audio tracks?
    (I say “seem” because I’m hoping it’s my error)

    It's been crashing a few times now when deleting user samples so I do hope the crashlogs reach @retronyms as they feel pretty random and may be related to iMPC Pro 2's internal file-management. iPad Air 2, iOS11.2.1...

    Was it doing that before this update? I just deleted a sample and all seemed OK but not updated the app yet.

    @Samu @Trueyorky Sample and program deletion were weird, at first, then sorted (on their own) pre- update, but I had trouble if I tried to delete a program/kit before I got rid of samples therein.

    If I emptied the folder of samples first, then I had no trouble removing the containing file from “my programs”.

    As a corollary, if I tried to open one of my programs that had been emptied of samples the app crashed...

    Anyone have experience with audio tracks and IAA fx sends? My query above: sends to IAA fx don’t seem to work for audio tracks, just for AUx and drum pad tracks....
