Migrating Projects from iMPC Pro to Pro 2:
We have an iMPC Pro 1 update in the works that adds the project archive feature. This will give you a path to get your projects to iMPC Pro 2 (it's in TestFlight now for any beta group members). I hope that comes out next week (though the app store is locked (frozen?) until the 27th).
iMPC Pro 1 Sound Packs for iMPC Pro2
I'd like to do this. Personally, I'd like to find a way for iMPC Pro 1 owners to get these for free, when iMPC Pro 2 users could purchase them. Thoughts?

Hey JP. Happy holidays. I got the beta and I'm happy to see impc pro export to pro 2. It would be great if the export was done without having to use itunes. Please do consider files app intergration. Great app and glad to hear There's a roadmap.

Jp what about options for importing projects into the mpc hardware, mpc live? What are the current options and are there any further plans in this regard to make it easier?
My question remains: I can’t seem to get an IAA connection with this app and Auria Pro or Cubasis. The original pro version connects to either of these DAWs just fine as do my other IAA apps (Beatmaker syncs perfectly and consistently, whether I use IAA or AU). But with iMPC pro 2 the remote transport controls don’t even display.
I’m willing to settle for a simple sync via IAA midi to Auria Pro. I really prefer iMPC. What could I be doing wrong?

Hey how y’all doin . Santa came and I received a new turntable record player; and as you know most come with a USB connection for recording vinyl to your computer but I was like “hey I wonder if I can sample records by using camera connection kit to usb directly to iPad running iMPC Pro 2 and sample records “ sure enough it worked
so that’s cool .
But now I wonder what’s a good app that detects Beats per minute so I can sync up IMPC Pro 2’s BPM and the record players . Any suggestions? Remember I’m kind of new to this stuff
Super cool — one way to have fun with this setup is to sample a hook/loop, trim it to a really solid sounding, loop, then choose Slice Loop. Depending on the nature of what you're sampling (is it a straight forward rhythm or super swinging jazz thing) you can try slicing with a grid or auto-transient-detection. Or drag down from the ruler to mark the beats (transients).
After that, you can use the loop in a range of tempos

AudioCopy is no workie here, it just sends me to the sheet where I can buy iMPC Pro 2 which is already installed...
I’ll just wait a couple more days and see it it’s a store glitch...

I seem to recall one of them saying you need to ping @Retronyms to send up the bat signal. That's an option that can be set in your AB forum account.
Same here. I complete 100% of the assignments and the Diploma link sends me to the pack's download page, but the cloud download icon takes me also to the iMPC Pro bundle's app-store's page instead of actually downloading the soundpack. Such a disappointing graduation day ;(
@JPwalton same here. I’m able to hear the diploma soundpack from audiocopy store but the cloud link doesn’t send me to download it. Just redirects to download Pro 2. Also I noticed the sounds included are already from some of the demo projects.
I'm also wondering why the 'Boom Bap' sound pack has a cloud symbol on it?(indicating it can be downloaded/restored) but I've not purchased it and when I try to download I get the 'purchase' sheet.
Who knows, maybe ACPY4 (when released) will include a 'free' souund pack and it's the Boom Bap pack?
Anyways, I do feel we'll get some updates after the staff at Apple comes back from X-Mas holidays and that will clear things up
I dropped an email to Retronyms support.
Another issue I came across when using Audio Units, is use cant use the undo if you want to undo a recording and try again, nor does the erase pad work with them, I have to go to the timeline and select and delete everything. It would be more convenient to just be able to undo an au part. Also, being able to hear the click track in play mode would be really useful for practicing a part before recording it. It would be cool if we could turn it on and off in play mode like we can in BM3 and other apps.
It may of been mentioned already so apoligies if I missed, I come late to the iMPC Pro 2 party. Just been playing for a few hours and enjoying the app.
Had one crash and getting some background hum left ear from I assume a zombie background app!
I tried it loaded into AUM along with Grooverider thought they could make a good beat combination. I don’t seem to have any control over volume using the AUM fader, no side metering it’s as if the app is still in standalone. Can anyone confirm this app works inside AUM ?
Have a reply about the Graduation pack if not already posted by someone - known bug and will be sorted in a couple of weeks
