  • And breath....

  • @commonstookie, hahaha...no joke. Got my appShopper update after I already got the automatic update. Guess that site's not so important anymore.

  • ...instrument > sound store...:)

    I buy 'Vintage Gear'….it's really cool….

    Like it

    Like IAA

@Sinapsya.how do you controls the IAA with midi...so that you record it as midi first...before you turn it into an audio file?

    You understand?

  • @commonstookie You need to open a keyboard inst but Empity, select the Midi channel you want to control (as the same of the synth) and enjoy!

    No worries...

    Got it:)

    Thanks..yes,just figured it out.

    First impressions.

    This is good.

  • @Sinapsya.i can't find echopad or aufx.
    Are they on here?

  • Yeah, got it. like it. I only have Alchemy to play with right now on my iPhone. Are there any other iPhone apps out that will run IAA? Seems like a short list of avaiable apps here in the (get more apps) window in BM2...maybe that's all there are so far, but it seems short to me. Would be nice to have a "for iPhone" and a "for iPad" tab on that screen too so you know what is what.

  • Ipad is not many either and the list is shorter in bm2 than in audioshare. Effects apps seem to be missing too.
Maybe the long time it spent in review means it needs an update!

  • @commonstookie I believe Sinapsya said previously that IAA effects are coming in the next update, not this one. He beta tests for them.

  • Really? I thought he was in sales...

  • ^ Hahaha!!! People could think that about me and Cubasis! :-)

  • Seems no FX apps.... just instruments or generator.
@boone51: I have 3 on the Phone: Alchemy, NLog and DJ 2.

For IAA effects you need to wait for next update...

For now for iPhone there is only Nlog & Djay2 (that is buggy)

  • @Sinapsya and Galaxyexplorer, thanks much.

You can use Djay2 as IAA??
I try but record is freezed ..,load song but don't play...for you is the same?

  • Not tested yet....will try it after i downloaded all the demos from the shop!

  • Me too ...thanks.

From what I can tell (with the few apps available) IAA midi is a better fix then all the other ios midi formats.

I can control imini with ease.!!

It's only now,(having IAA working in front of me..properly...for the first time),that I'm a bit worried for audiobus.

  • No FX only instruments in this version @commonstookie

  • Thanks Jarrett.

Mmhhh.... Alchemy worked in 1 of three times, NLog no problems, DJ 2 no chance at the moment. In general i get at least every second try a message "Can't start App. Try rebooting your device." But that doesn't work too.
Edit: No chance... now BM2 freeze when i try to open Alchemy or the sound is away..... Damn... pretty useless the IAA. The only app on the iPhone which have no problems at all is AudioShare.

  • @Galaxyexplorer for Alchemy, don't forget to close the app before open it as IAA in BM2….but I think Alchemy Team are working to fix his problem.

  • @Sinapsya: Doesn't work.... :( Alchemy always needs 2-3 attempts to get start and after a while it crash. But i also had often trouble in the past to start Alchemy in Audiobus.
DJ 2: No sound whatever i try :(
    NLog: Works!

  • Tried it on the phone. I got dj2, alchemy, voice synth and Nlog showing up. The international version of Yamahas TNR-I doesn't appear to have IAA, but inside bm2 it lists the US version of compatible apps to buy, do anyone have the US version and can check it out?

  • Mapping iSem to the keyboard samplers pots and recording the automation works a treat....

  • @ChrisG I believe TNR-i is a host app (allowing you to run external synths via it's sequencer).

  • @busker Thanks, yea you're right. I'm senile, I've already tried it as a host app few weeks back.

So I'm realizing somethig kind of interesting. Every app apparently has to explicitly say which apps it will connect to. Is that right? The reason I say this is because in Auria is see Amplitube no problem. But in BM2 it's nowhere to be found. That seems like a pretty big deal to me if it's true

Wait... I think I get it. Amplitube is an effect isn't it.
