  • 9-1-1 on Fox. Great characters, great story. I cry every episode.

  • I’m currently watching the clothes hung up on the shower rod, their lively shadow along the wall and in the tub, buffeted by the breeze wafting through the window on this brief fall like day in generally hellish Texas.

Much to my surprise, I’m totally into “undone” on Prime Video. It’s deep, always surprising, funny, weird, sad, happy ... and a bunch of other often contradictory adjectives ... all at the same time.

+1 to the Adams Family @AudioGus. One of my top ten favorite shows of all time. B)

I’m enjoying Undone a lot as well

  • The Spy on Netflix. Great show, can't believe that's Borat 😮

Good to hear. I have a long trip coming up and have been keeping that in reserve as 'plane food' :)

    Watchmen anyone?

I watched the first one, have the second on tape. Wasn’t massively entertained, but willing to give it a go.

However original writer, Mr Moore isn’t happy: “anybody who has anything to do with any of these shitty Watchmen travesties, even as a member of the audience, will be dragged screaming to hell by their nipples”

    We have been warned.

“Dolemite is my name” on Netflix. Hilarious. Good to hear Eddie Murphy cuss again.

Very good movie about The Godfather of Rap. Excellent cast as well.👌🏾

Rhythm and Flow was a great look into the grind of becoming the next Hip Hop Star today. Tip, Chance and Cardi found a few new stars sure to hit the charts.

Godfather of Harlem with Forest Whitaker as OG Bumpy Johnson is amazing.

Dave Chappelle, Deion Cole and Arsenio Halls standup specials kept me entertained. WARNING: do not watch if you’re one of these new easily offended folks that manage to get themselves hurt by everything.

Finally, Peaky Blinders, Animal Kingdom and The Wutang Story are all dope 👌🏾.

Quick question for anybody who has tried the new iNetflix 🍏 TV thing...

    Is it good?

  • The OA on Netflix. Not sure what genre to call it. It's a mystery drama with fantasy and science fiction elements. I heard it was canceled after 2 seasons but I'm soldiering on. A truly unique TV show.

    Disenchantment Season 2

Well that’s disappointing. I was pretty excited for this one.
Just wish Mr. Moore would quit sugar coating it and tell us what he’s really thinking.

Eddie really did him justice. I have Rudy’s Christmas album which of course is ridiculously funny.
Chappelle’s special was fantastic. Agreed, if you’re easily offended give this one a pass.
Peaky Blinders is some of the best TV this decade for me.
Latest season ended a little abruptly for my tastes but I’ll take what they’re giving.

That was a comment from before the series, so more about his feelings towards the film and other adaptations of his work. I doubt he's full of praise for the series though, or even watched it. As he once said: ”My book is a comic book. Not a movie, not a novel. A comic book”.

I think watchmen is great!! Really enjoyed the first 2 eps. I work with a couple of people who've never read the comic or saw the movie - and they're both loving it as much as I am. I'd highly recommend it.
It takes place several years after the comic series ended.

  • Hi. Can’t recommend Gomorrah enough - one of the best things on TV at the moment (Sky/Now Tv), but I do love the gangster genre, so I’m a sucker for it. In Italian, so subtitled - it looks great, with a great soundtrack by Mokadelic, whose theme tune seeps in at the end of each episode, as the characters stare moodily into the mid-distance, taking in how truly messed up their lives are....

Oh - and was also gonna mention the soundtrack music from Trent reznor & Atticus Ross is superb for watchmen too! Some of their best stuff!

Thanks for the nudge, I've had that on ice for ages, time to defrost....

  • I'm only 7 hours in, but it's really quite good.

  • much better than the first series

Enjoy! You’ve got enough seasons to have a proper binge.

  • I watched Mother! last night, the latest Darren Aronofsky film.
Seems like nobody is on the fence with this movie. It’s either loved it or hated it.
    I loved it ... I think.
I know I can’t stop thinking about it.
Some pretty intense scenes and acting.

  • Just about the funniest music tutorial to date ;)

  • Also loving these...

    :) Brilliant.

Would love to see a new series of what they’re doing now.
