@kinkujin Nice! Meee tooo. That was my second time watching it.

  • TigerKing on Netflix was totally mesmerizing. I loved every second!

    Just finished watching The Virtues.

Gritty, bleak, 4 part UK drama from Shane Meadows last year.

Won't be everybody's cup of tea, but a mesmerising performance from Stephen Graham.

    Wow.

yes, fantastic ...and a bleak but not so obvious ‘you can see it coming’ ending.. no hollywood wimp out for Shane.

Finished watching season 1 of Carnival Row on Amazon Prime. Decent noir detective/fantasy mashup show. For one scene I put on the below song for extra entertainment. And yes, in an interview with Orlando and Cara, somebody did bring up the subject of winged fairies getting dat freak on.. although to be fair, the drama Versailles beats it as far as number of hookup/coupling scenes go

Ozark [netflix] - such a great show

Season 3 came out... We just binged 1 and 2 to get the right context for #3.
It's got a "Breaking Bad" approach to good people in the world of drug cartels fighting to
survive. I'm going to find the show runner and see what's also in out there already.

The Americans is also amazing and has the best ending of a series I can think of...they really nailed it down.

"6 Feet Under" also had a great run and nailed the ending.

6 Feet Under series was amazingly great (I’ve watched it through twice now) and one of the best ending to a series ever! That song by Sia is so beautiful.

My wife and I seem to be in the minority - but we’ve given Ozark a chance twice now and did not get into it at all...

  • Oh, and we started watching new FX series Devs - and have been enjoying it. It’s from the writer/director of Ex Machina - and has a bit of that same kind of tech vibe to it. Recommended!

True... only reachable using "FX on Hulu" at this point... about 6 episode in with Wednesday night release schedule so binge to a pint and wait.

Star Trek Discovery, Picard, The Good Fight and Twightlight Zone are good on CBS All Access.

  • Treme, only thought there was one series until a couple of weeks back!

  • It’s great btw

  • Ozark Season 3. Another reminder to never get involved with a drug cartel, it looks tiring.

    :D

Yeah I'm currently watching S3 too. Shit got dark!

  • Haven’t started season 3 just yet. Will soon! Definitely need to watch Breaking Bad at some point.

    Punishment Park 1971

  • Eastenders, rations.

  • Berlin Babylon's third season was great. Also the second season of Happy was fun in a disreputable kind of way.

  • Brockmire. Written by and starring Hank Azaria. One of the funnier tv shows, now in its 4th season.

  • Amazon "The marvelous mrs maisel ". Amazing show. Actually I think Amazon has better TV shows than Netflix.

  • Apostle on Netflix 👍🏼

I lasted a season. Appreciated it tremendously. Sort of broke my heart.

  • "Devs" using "FX on Hulu". It rolls out an episode per week and I'm 7 episodes in. Really good if you have Hulu handy... check it out.

There are great series now on "CBS All-Access" buy and month and binge:
    Star Trek Discovery (2-3 seasons)
Picard (Star Trek spin off - 1 Season)
The Good Fight (The Good Wife after birth - starting Season 4)
The Twilight Zone (from Jordan Peele's production shop)
    and a few more.

  • Messiah and Unorthodox on Netflix. Both highly recommended.

  • Ozark Season 1-3 .. Best show I’ve seen in a few years; Jason Bateman is a brilliant director & actor.

Thanks for the heads up about the existence of that film. I remember really liking Watkins’ Privilege. I will be watching this one.

  • Arrested Development and it’s my favorite show ever
