New Bram Bos App: AU Tap Delay!?

So I saw this alarming and wonderful news on Twitter today.

I know what the answer is, but let's ask anyway. (And what the hell, let's do it in Dutch to make it interesting.)

    Heh. It's a multi-tap delay (with a maximum delay of 2 bars), combined with a tapeloop, autopan and ambience generator. And it can process the outgoing audio using the Haas effect (aka Wavefront Precedence Effect). Essentially anything I typically need to turn dry monophonic sounds into something spatial.

    As I said in the tweet, it's mostly an experiment which I can put to good use myself because it was a set of tools I was missing in my AU toolbox. But I like it so much that I think I'll launch it. :)

    And I'm calling the plugin "Kosmonaut: Space Explorer" B)

    Cool! Some sort of 'sync to Rozeta midi AU' trick could be neat...

    It would be incredible if this could get the gorgeous multi tap delay chorus sound that the Yamaha UD stomp and Magic stomp pedals were famous for. I think it's the best chorus sound out there. 8 delay taps, with delay time, feedback, speed, depth. pan, etc. Google UD stomp patches (specifically the Allan Holdsworth chorus patches) and see what parameters are available.

    I have lots of delays, but would buy this for sure. I am pretty much interested in anything you release. Even if there is overlap with an app I already own, your app would probably win out because they are more fun to use and get bugs fixed overnight while I sleep. You have a lock on minimal resource wasting as well. Your apps run super efficiently. Your apps are always in play in whatever setup I am experimenting with.

    Imagine shifting those taps around with the very useful sequencers from the brambos library!

    I would be happy to pay extra (your apps are already a bargain) for a Pro version with full screen and good old audiobus. Could always throw in a space echo vintage delay model with pitch and warble on the sequencer for version 2..

    Would be kinda cool if it had your version of that sort of organic, warbly, gritty sound you get from lo-fi tape loop setups. :)
