The thread is referring to posting music of one’s own on Spotify, not stealing other people’s music.
To get the thread back on tracks then, here is my Spotify artist link: https://open.spotify.com/artist/4xTltxyER0bye8l01pNbys?si=iJUm-bRzQ2qn5E5fJ-Sxcw
Working on a new set of tunes to publish though, only have 3 of them on there for now.
Sure do.... https://open.spotify.com/artist/0rIR91aleUTek73piRBvwg

Here’s my spotify. All my music is made with iPad, mostly because that’s how I started out and I don’t know anything else. https://open.spotify.com/artist/5CBykav5ptN0kWpT1nvRQB?si=TiNGb7uIQPCxxh7YhXmbxg

Also, I heard Amuse may set their own terms based on how successful your song becomes in future (not sure how accurate this is). Read up their fine print.

that's my main post-punk industrial project

that's another project. Here I play on bass, sampling (iPad), drones, fx, etc
Don't think I already posted this, but, yes, I did get a song on Spotify just for the hell of it and to show I can, I dunno, make some terrible noise now and then.

Hi @realdawei - It was made with 100% iPad using Synthmaster mainly with DigiStix and fab filters. Thank you for listening!

all music done on ipad (with a quick run through Audition on PC for mastering). Starting to gather up songs for my next album and hope to release something in the next few months.
As it happens I was listening to this while working just yesterday - I really like your album, it's excellent.

Anyone have experience with the beta release of SoundCloud Premiere Distribution? I like the idea of staying within something I already use.

Somewhat perversely, I don’t think I’d want my music on Spotify, the returns for artists are frankly insulting. I’d rather have my stuff only available on sites with better returns. Perhaps some promo tracks, excerpts, medlies, etc. on Spotify to fish for interest in a bigger pond, but not complete pieces or albums. I’m more inclined to go for the likes of Bandcamp or Soundclick for full releases...
I put some of my 2019 releases on Spotify earlier this year.
I don't even have 100 monthly listeners yet, but it's just about paid for the Distrokid subscription itself. The largest profit by far though is from my Bandcamp and from iTunes/Apple Music sales. I've been on YouTube and SoundCloud for years too, but don't monetize through them.
From 3 releases, a total of 25 tracks, I've brought in a grand total of nearly $65 so far this year (all outlets combined).
22 of these tracks were made in Nanostudio 2, and more than half of those were recorded as part of the Jamuary challenge (making a song a day throughout January).
I'm handling all of my own mixing, mastering, artwork, and publishing. I'm registered with ASCAP as both a writer/artist (3sleeves) and publisher (Appalachian Mountain Gorilla) and have been issuing my releases through Byproducts Independent Recording Group (a "label" that I made up about 22 years ago, might even have a MySpace page still floating around).
If I made music to support myself financially I'd be starving and homeless (and probably have anger issues from dealing with industry folks).
However, if I didn't make music to express myself I'd be emotionally stunted and unable to constructively cope with certain life experiences.
With that perspective, I'm a successful musician as long as I'm making music when it feels right.
I’ve released my Happy Birthday song on Spotify and all other stores. You can find it by searching for “MobileMusic” artist -

Distributing another song today (will be released after a couple of weeks).
I have used MusConv tool to transfer all my Spotify playlists to Apple Music without any hassle. It has free and paid versions so you may try it.
I suggest you try using MusConv service. They are capable of the task across different platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, Google Music, iTunes, Amazon Music, YouTube, Deezer, Tidal, Pandora, Groove.
I got some, even though Spotify is not avaliable in my country

Planning to start this year after I remaster my current tracks.
Here is my Best of Playlist.
Sounds like Depeche Mode, Morcheeba, Moby, The Killers, Enigma, New Order.
There are some cover songs too.
Please subscribe to my artist channel as well.

I have one track on Spotify.
A remix I did for one Bob Humid's artists.
It's called ,'You Lack Discipline', by John Callaghan, Hypnotique
under my artist name of ,'ModernDayBlue'.
It serves to remind me that Spotify is great as an online business card
but not so financially great for the artists that release their catalogue on there.
@MonzoPro did you ever do this? I’m not seeing Horse Gas (or Pony Farts) on Spotify.
Ha! No, not yet - I’ve got Horse Gas on Bandcamp though, and it makes the occasional sale.
I’ve got a bit distracted with other projects, so HG output is a bit slow these days, but I reckon I’ll get around to it eventually
i might look into creating a label as well, wuld be good to go straight to a distributor and cut out the middle men.
creating /having a label / collective is fun! it brings you together with other like minded / similar style musicians who can all talk , critique and encourage each other. i’ve started two small collectives in my day and it was the best time i’ve had making music and having a small family to collaborate and share thoughts with. you get a bigger audience immediately as everyone on the label already had a small following on platforms like instagram and or youtube so that’sa cool perc just too have others hear your stuff and in turn you get to hear stuff from people you didn’t previously know. i’ve been wanting to do it again, form a new ambient , chill electronic music collective i really do miss it... get at me if you wana discuss ideas for doing it yourself or maybe to form something together
