    • Can one Rozeta plugin in Cubasis drive multiple synths, or is it limited to the synth where it is added as a midi fx?
    • How do you setup Rozeta arp to be driven by an incoming chord sequence in Cubasis? Or can you only use the keyboard with the arp? Wondering because of this midi fx connection.

I couldn't find documentation or videos explaining this, and I don't have the app to try it out.

I think it depends on whether you are using AUv3 or IAA.......IAA apps usually have a MIDI port that you can send to (in Cubasis track MIDI Output routing send to all, and then have them on the same channel), AU do not expose an external MIDI port.

You can drive ARP from chords in realtime or if you record your chords onto the Timeline in cubasis...they will then be used as input to the ARP loaded on that track. What I havent been able to do is use CELLS to drive the ARP within cubasis, I cannot see a way of routing the output from CELLS to the ARP

@LFS @brambos Any tips on doing this sort of thing ? As Cubasis is limited to a single MIDI FX per track it does reduce the usefulness....for example, if I want to use both Bassline and LFOs on the same synth I can only do it if I use an IAA synth with LFO's on a second track and route the MIDI to the IAA...It doesn't seem possible with AU synths unless you do it one rozeta module at a time and record the midi output each time.

  • I will be nice if Cubase LE was available for Cubasis 2 users.. I think it can open Cubasis project files..

  • Yes, I was thinking of such routings as Cells to Arp, and to non-IAA synths. Perhaps Cubasis has the most straightforward setup for simple lanes, whereas AUM + BM3 currently is better for more flexible setups.
