    @Max23
I'm going to need to hear some of your music! Trying to imagine the venn diagram that intersects between unbridled creativity and a devotion to techno, the most rigid, codified music on the planet!
    Let's hear a Drambopiece!

  • Switching and triggers - this is showing what you can do related to triggers outside of the sequenced steps. its like flipping a switch :) here it controls oscillator pitch through a slew limiter for envelope like effect. You can't see in video but hitting trigger switches a CV value being sent out.

Just to be clear $15 dollars is what it will sell for in a pawn shop in 15 years , it’s not the price set for release unless that’s what @giku_beepstreet decides To do of course . 😁

    $15 :)

    I think this needed bumping!

I am fascinated to see the price of Drambo. Not sure how high it would have to be to put me off! I would pay the same as Cubasis 3 for sure.

I agree, if anything this thread shows how labor intensive something like this is, and how developers should be rightfully paid for birthing something like this into existence.

My day job is one that skirts the edges of development (although i’m more on the data analysis side), my point being i’m somewhat biased to the plight of developers.

  • Let me add to that, that @giku_beepstreet has made some of my favorite desktop/iOS apps to date, so just going off that (and knowing there may be a desktop version in the works) definitely makes me want to open up my wallet for this app.

some people will post more in this thread then they ever will create in drambo. to be fair we have had a pretty good head start

  • Sample mangling - control sampler with...whatever. Here it’s being triggered by gate and velocity sequencer. Velocity affects offset.

  • $15 wow. Incredibly low price. After all the bits of vids I've seen, the hype is real. Hope to see this as a vst/au. Seems it is gonna blow everything out of the water as far as software drum machines.

  • Its release sale, not a regular price.

Yep, Zeeon is still my #1 most-used virtual analog.
Model 15 is great too but not as quick for sound design.
Zeeon shows that it's been designed by an experienced synth expert.

@Paul16 - sure I remember them relocating to Europe in the 90s, just wondered what happened to them since. Are they still out there DJing?

  • Still, I would buy this at a much higher price. We are quite spoiled on the IOS platform! Anyways, really looking forward to it!

    Cheers!

  • Probably it has been already discussed in this LONG thread.. can we expect a release for desktop in the future?

  • Guys! You almost convinced me, the launch price should be higher ;)

@giku_beepstreet si there will be initial sale ? What a pity, so i must wait until sale ends - because i want to pay full price ;-) I have golden rule to not buy amazing apps in sale, just for regular price ;-)

What about full price as preorder, then sale after release ? To give opportunity to those of us who wants fully appreciate your work ...

  • Why don’t you just publish your PayPal address. Seems to be a few people that want to donate money to you.

    What a community! Love!

You wait so long, that the app should be free :)

Btw. This forum is the only place, where Drambo is being discussed/shown... (and where people suffer ;) )

Would be nice to be able to send a few drinks when the price is so ridiculous.

    Agreed.

Also, I hope @giku_beepstreet you add some IAP for additional modules/presets so you can continue to make some money off the app down the road.

Guaranteed that'll piss some people off, even though I think your heart is in the right place. Maybe a "dev tip" IAP or even a "thanks for making iOS music great!" Paypal address to avoid giving Apple a cut?

Sometimes i think this forum is visited by at least 80% of people who are making music using iOS devices :)))

The user and all related content has been deleted.
  • I have seen Drambo mentioned a few times over at the Elektonauts forum, that said there is a bit of cross pollination between the two as I have see some familiar faces over there.
