✨New Demo✨Information about how to route MIDI CC from AuV3 audio in Sequencism.
Fac Envolver follows the loudness contour of some drums coming from Ruismaker and controls the filter cutoff and res of the Zeeon analog modeling synth.
Important: Sequencism requires that the synths support MIDI learning. Ex: Zeeon, Beathawk, Vatanator, All Yonac AUv3, All iceGear AUv3, All embertone AUv3. Please comment if I've missed some.
Love it! 😍
Dear Fred
Could it be possible to avoid the need of touching play in order to work? I don't wont to accidentaly start up or synchronize IAP's that may be working in different tempos simultaneously but, Is it really neccesary? It means an extra button to push on stage and they are already too many in my setup
Thanks a lot for your awesome ideas.
@ruizcomposer I just checked in AUM that your observation is correct:
=> In FAC Evolver you can see the envelope of the sound when notes are played on the keyboard, but the volume slider of channel 1 does only react, if the AUM play button is pressed.
So I was listening to some old albums I had mixed and I was thinking about using Envolver as a drum replacement tool, similar to something like Drumagog.
Here's my thought - both Drumagog and Envolver are envelope followers. Drumagog (in it's simplest form) follows the amplitude of a track and plays back a sample whenever there's a spike. Could Envolver's MIDI cc out be changed into a note number to, say, play back a single sample in Beathawk, or some other sample player? This way you could use it in place of Drumagog on the iPad.
@FredAntonCorvest Since you're the man behind the green curtain here - any thoughts?
Looks like FAC is working on a update.
Dang - looks like he's working on the exact thing I was describing above!
@FredAntonCorvest - You can PayPal me my commission.
Free running mode will be part of the v2 too
So no need to hit play to send midi. Midi out can still be disabled by hitting the left button available on each slot.
Thx for the share
Just did the bundle upgrade and have been looking at uses for Envolver.
First up, until AUM and others enable sidechain for Pro Q3 dynamic eq on iOS, it’s very easy now to set it up using Envolver to provide the trigger.
Nice.
I have no idea what Envolver could do but I do know this.
Once midi automation is involved I'll run it through its paces.
I've got some electronica dance tracks to write and release for next year.
This sounds like it could melt some of my dance loops.
Wicked.
