Fonzie is cool (even now). Thanks :D

  • stick some wheels on it and you could have a mobile Bedouin shed. ooh, tie dye.
be interesting to know the stats on here... harem or ipad
nick drake sang a song about a man in a shed. maybe he was singing about you?
wish my garden was big enough for a shed

  • Hard to show it’s true beauty with my crappy iPad camera but here it is. Obviously this is before I get electric, speakers, mixer and coffee maker installed lol

Good thing you have your own personal cloud.

Nice! Man cave in the making? Also, is that a Mastiff?

How do you like that Novation SL MK2 is it @Approach ? Thinking of grabbing the 37 or 49 for when I’m stuck to the desk.

I like it quite a lot. My keyboard skills are terrible but I can still appreciate the action of the keys. They are quality feeling. Having encoders and regular pots is a big plus. Some things feel off when trying to adjust with encoders I find. The screen is pretty nifty. If you assign a knob to cutoff it will read cutoff under the knob. The combo pitch bend/mod joy stick makes for some fun tweaking. Its got it all really, although the drum pads are weak when compared to many new controllers. They’ve been making that keyboard for over a decade so it must be doing something right. Most midi controllers come and go over night it seems.

Careful you don’t become defined by your shed rather than your art ...

  • So ... shall we call you Fruit (Two Sheds) Bat now?

  • This thread is karma. I came home from work today and my wife had cleaned out all the junk from the side of the garage where I’m planning on putting my “studio” pile of stuff.

  • Nice space for creating! Enjoy.

  • Omg. I wish that was my life. Every time I clear out some space someone fills it in with more stuff. It’s like water - it fills up every crack.

  • Well, most of it was her junk, so my wife was like water and now she’s drying up.?.

She might if you start to spend all your time in the studio.

Having moved home over the holidays, I was happy to see their had been a small shed left in the garden.

I think you’ve inspired me to move my old crap out of my wonky shed. Or move my old crap out of the massive brick garage I could be using.

Maybe l’ll just get another shed.

Yeah sheds are cool....sometimes cold even lol

Got a decent sized shed here, and hoped to use it for music, but it leaks like mad when it rains. I’ve re-roofed it, replaced loads of boards in the panels, sealed the windows etc., but every time it rains it ends up soaked inside. Got a few rats living in it now, so that’s that, garden equipment and associated Monzo family junk is all its good for now.

  • Seems my shed thread has grown while I’ve been sleeping (not in my shed).

Thank you all for the shed related laughs and banter. While I’ve just woken - all I can think of is my usual bed head and how if I don’t please my wife, I will be waking with shed head instead!

Would make a great shed for Tucker (my dog). He does actually make better music than myself. As we all know.....it really is about the shed and not the music....O, sorry, wrong way around.....hmmm

Was talking with the wife yesterday about building a new shed. I forgot to say if I would be getting rid of the old one. Yeah, I like that nick name lol. A nickname within a nickname...

Well sounds like you need a shed for that studio pile....the older I get the more I could do with a pile shed...

Reasons I avoid key now are:

    1. My hardware studio used to have racks of keyboards and I’m frightened I would get hooked again!
    2. I cheat mostly as my fingers have the shakes now - I now use onscreen keyboards with the scale set lol

Could really do with some hardware knobs though.

I better not make comment on this for fear of going XXX again :D

Yeah, once they really go, it’s rebuild or forget it!
