We keep our power tools in the house. My wife is a big fan of power tools.....maybe I should not have said that.....
Sounds like I should do an episodic video series > @mrcanister said:
Please post the song if you can find it!
Who’s a good shed? There’s a good shed.
Made me pine for the UK ... briefly ... decent pint and a curry ... mmmm ...
That’s the thing, I’ve fixed all the potential places it could leak, but it still does. It’s like someone goes in there when I’m asleep and throws a few buckets of water about.
We had a really large shed left when we moved into a house a few years back. It was really big and I was so excited. Problem was, it was so damp. Not by leaking when it rained, but by the ground being so sodden (the area used to be an old flood plain). They simply had not built the supports high enough from the water level, hence the water had just soaked in over time! We pulled it down and started to build a pond instead. Then moved again lol
I would love to do a shed thing......but here in Florida, I am not paying to install AC in a shed I still need to build.......
I am lazy man music maker who likes the creature creator comforts of my home studio...........
But I wish I had a shed like that for real.
NO SHED!
I miss beer
What’s the Homer Simpson quote? “Alcohol, the cause of and solution to man’s problems”.
I miss the idea of England considerably, but not the day to day of it....
I sometimes have fond memories of my long gone home studio. Wires and racks. Keys upon keys. Cabling and heat. Mad crazy mains hum. Faulty midi cables. Disk drives of all kinds buzzing away. Multiple monitors and mice. The electric bills hidden away...
Sitting in a bar with a real ale and listening to the local band play.
England is a great place now with too many people - I can do without people
Burn them!
And we used to have Queen Madonna or even Queen Freddie....what has become of times lol
A dog(man) must have his shed. Sheds before music ( t shirt idea?) Dogs do have amazing hearing so I’m not surprised he surpasses you paws (hands) down in the music department🐶🎹
Shed light on my new opus, dog
Will your opus have canine movements?🎼
Nope, just scooped the garden poop a few minutes ago!
So your opus will have only one movement then, not much content there unless you make it a very long piece 😃🐶

I’ve had one loop playing over in RC (with occasional notes added) while playing over it with the four sounds in BM3 for the last 20 minutes. Was kind of relaxing. Wished I had recorded it though - I was in the zone.
So for years I didn’t use my garage as a techno cave because I thought it would be too hot during the summer but after buying a big ass fan it’s actually pretty nice. I just point it straight at me and go to town. Nights are especially nice and I sometimes prefer it to my house with ac. AC dries my sinuouses out. I’m in NC so we have similar heat. Lowe’s has a nice selection of industrial strength big ass fans.
Try to recreate it but this time record ......often those themes that worked for you resurface again and again. I’ve been opening up RC every day and am loving the sounds and creating. Looking forward to added features..
Stay in the zone
I never get back in the zone when trying to record and recreate something. I think I don’t relax in the same way and over think it
Oh no stage freight? Solution, teach your dog to hit the switch...dogs are random at times😀😎
When I’m just playing and really relaxed, sometimes it just flows. When I’m recording, I stop feeling the moment and looking for those cues. Everything then becomes regimented and I may as well just enter the notes straight into a sequencer - don’t we all get this at times?
The butt naked shed heads - name for a band lol
...yet another world class thread from Audiobus. The legend continues. Now we’ve all got to put up a naked Song of the Month. It’s gonna be an ugly month.
