A little Halloween atmosphere, courtesy of iWaveStation, Bismark bs-16i, Thumbjam and Cubasis.

Great classic horror type sounds, were those choirs near the end a soundfont?

    My submission........“The Playroom”

Another one! Hope you like it.

Model D, Embertone, Kauldron, SampleTank, Beathawk.

Nice mix of sounds, kind of retro, this is more for the part of the horror movie before everything goes bad.

@OscarSouth nice production, very layered and dreamy but lots of action.

  • Guess I need to post this here. I accepted the challenge but not until the last minute. This entire thing was created, recorded, and released today. Definitely a new record for me.

  • Sorry to venture off-topic with a non-new entry, but it's now actually Halloween and I have to post this track spearheaded by my late friend here. He was something of a genius in my book, and it was one of the most fun sessions I've ever been a part of. I present you...Disco Werewolf!

  • @Lady_App_titude good vibes, nice speed run!

@oat_phipps sorry, dont have spotify but thanks for the entry

Thanks everyone who entered the Halloween song challenge. Im going to call it a great success thanks to so many who were actually able to finish something topical in a limited amount of time, not always easy, well done all!

A few nods to some familiar themes in there - almost Halloween Latino style

I think that’s Day of the Dead :)
And thanks for the sound font info, BS-16 looks interesting. Noticed a few entries here used it.

  • Are we starting this again this year? Who is inspired ?

Ok forum, with Halloween around the corner, who's in?

    Rules:
    1) must have halloween/horror theme
    2) must make new song for the challenge, dont post something already made
    3) there is NO rule #3
    4) post your creations here

    Discussion:
I like the idea of a 3min time limit but not sure how other people feel. Have not made it a rule but leave it here as a suggestion.

Got this idea from Reddit where they will have a poll to vote for the favourite, do we want to make it more competitive like that? If so all submissions would have to be in a few days before Halloween, say Oct. 27

I don't understand the third rule?

    ;)
