I'm still "interested" in Aparillo, but trying not to be, if you dig.

There seems to be some major loading and saving issues for me. So maybe wait an update or two if you are on the fence anyway. No point in diving only to be frustrated.

    Thanks! That does help.

  • plenty more planned after Cality too - hopefully will keep you supplied with interesting things throughout the year :-)

Embertone says they’re working on josh bell violin.
    Anything from klevgr, audiodamage, uvi.

  • Gimme Cality :#

  • Sample freakin import in the Playground app and DrumJam, and motherfreakin panning in the Samplr app, not to mention which ever freakin Patterning update includes sample slicers and multiple, simultaneous patterns !!!

AudioKit should perfect the AUv3 code enabling more developers to add this essential feature to their apps faster and with fewer bugs in the major DAWs.

When we see D1, SynthOne and FM Player ship with AUv3 that will announce a new era for AUv3 developers.

There was computer networking before the Internet but the creation of a free, open code standard for developer's to build on opened the doors to a whole new level of interoperability.

So, watch for the AUv3 AudioKit Apps in 2019 and get ready for a whole new level of creativity and interconnectivity going into 2020.

NOTE: AUv3 includes new standards for MIDI FX interconnectivity so AudioKit needs to produce stable code for that too. Because the code is freely available the prices will stay low because it costs a lot less to develop the Apps as a result of the free, open code at the core.

It sounds like the core is ultimately Apples (hah! Found a pun) and they need to clean up the actual documentation and AU code in the OS which is aparently a bit of mess (?). If someone puts out a free bunch of AU code they could be releasing a lot of bugs into the wild that are then propograted.

  • That Audio Damage looper is the stuff--especially given that we will also get an AUv3 MIDI looper with Photon. Gonna be a huge 2019!
