    • Sector. Love the concept, can never tame the beast.

    • iVCS3. The original synth is older than I, and I my brain still hasn’t caught up. Likely never will. Thank God for the presets.

    • DrumPerfectPro. Great sounds, super powerful, yet I shy away from it because I’m always overcome with a feeling of overwhelmedness upon opening it.

  • The Fabs, pick any three.

  • Gadget
    GarageBand
Beatmaker 3 only if the gb sampler doesn’t get updated but if it does then Beathawk would be my third.

Ahh smart! Then you probably get some mixing knowhuh in tow...

  • SunVox
    Gestrument Pro
    GrooveRider GR-16

  • I also suspect there is hidden gold in:
    Different Drummer
    K Machine
    Dhalang MG

  • NS2, Grooverider, Troublemaker

If you are not an NS2 Black Belt who is? You can't put forward the developer. My money is on @Samu in about 2 weeks.

  • I think I should have added the rule all 3 apps must start with the same letter:

    Gestrument Pro
    GrooveRider GR-16
    Gadget

    Alpha clusters!

  • BM3
    Samplr
    Sunvox

That's when I do my best work. Open Laptop... insert foot.

It does to me. DIY App'ing. Very expensive if "time = money". Cheap otherwise.

Audulus does look like it was written by an Engineering PhD as a teaching tool. I have NOT heard a good piece made with it however. Still... deeply programmable.

McDtracy&JohhnyGoodyear for the win. Auria Pro & all the Fabs. I think that should count for three, throw in Bebot if I must have 3.

    AudioKit D1 for Synthesis

Wow. That's very kind of you to say! 🙏

I'm planning on making a tutorial on AudioKit Digital D1.

In the meantime, Nu-Trix the Synth Guy released this sound design tutorial for D1 yesterday that's quite awesome. Well worth the watch!

  • Assuming I'm not already a black belt ninja in everything ..... 🤣🤣🤣

    Tonestack
    Amplitube
    Bias FX

I wish I had the ability to dial in the tone I’m looking for without getting lost for hours in the hunt. I’m getting better at not caring so much, but it’s still an unwanted obsession.

    Cubasis
    BeatHawk
    Ravenscroft 275.

Now, what the hell am I listing for exactly? @McDtracy, what we're you thinking when you rote you're thread titul?
    Syntax, brother, syntax!
If not syntax at least contractions!

SunVox.. The demo songs are awesome, GUI looks amazing. I really need to spend some more time to master the tracker style sequencing..

  • Layr
    BM3
    Gestrument pro

To be a Black Belt Ninja Warrior I need to see the source code!

I think I answered the wrong question. Let me try again...
    Auria Pro
    SynthMaster1
MIDI ( not an app. Even I know that. But that's what I really need)

Good answers. I will cancel your Sin Tax post haste and raise with a SysEx dump. You still in this pot?

  • Nice topic!
    Cream
    Sunrizer
    Tessitura

    Good shout on Layr.

  • @Cliffy I spent some time to learn Sector competently and let me say don’t bother, it’s only cool in theory and barely useable for music. (To be fair it’s also not as complicated as it first looks)

What finally convinced me of this was I recently got a desktop plugin called Beat Stutter that does everything you would want Sector to do x10 but it’s actually musical and took about 5 min to learn.

  • Layr
    AudioLayer
    FieldScaper

There are no wrong questions... just small players.

Do you really want to learn Auria Pro or do you jusr want the IOS Fairy to grant you magic powers? Cause that could be arranged for a small renumeration... how does $5,000 sound for infinite Auria Pro Ninja Chops? I've got a friend that has a friend that used to date the Fairy.

Whacks On/Whacks Off Grasshopper. Drawn circular motions with your hands forward circling the large knobs. Repeat until you can't maintain consciousness. Do not use any muscles just pure energy... thought energy will do.

That's your Ninja lesson until the check clears.

  • Mm, the free first taste @McDtracy. You didn't mention anything in your nearly indecipherable title that indicated I had to work for it. That changes everything.
