So the 3 Ravenscroft references that were pointing out there isn't really anything to master, puts it in 4th place. Was the tally including apps that appeared in quotes as well?
This is why AI will never replace servants born into the household. My family didn't have to use an abacus to calculate the great Khan's 3 favorite saddle sore lotions, we just included their names in the lyrics to my ancestral hymn.
FYI they all rhyme with Mung and are all disgusting.
I’m guessing that people want to improve their keyboard skills. The app features are pretty simple unlike a synth that has so many knobs to tweak for millions of sounds.
Yes.
How”s the Khan clan doing in modern China?
Shirley, you jest.
I would agree with that accessment were it not for the fact that all 4 mentions were from @LinearLineman who I would imagine is, if not the most skilled at traditional ivory tickling, is surely in the upper echelon. It it tickling or tinkling? Both those seem very odd at the moment, but I find that is often the case when one stops and spends a moment pondering the origin of some of the proverbs and colloquialisms that we still use, often without ever learning why the pot called the kettle black, or that horse's are champing at the bit, most likely assume they were chomping, if they ever think about the words at all. Makes me wonder what Shakespeare would think of 1337 5p34k and the web's apparent obsession with acranyms and portmantaeus, or what the kids call acratoze or often simply actz for short. But I digress.
Not so well I'm afraid. In the end, ooph, they die nasty.
It's a family name, Thardus Surely Khan the Eldest the Third.
I see what your patiently trying to tell me now. I'll remove RC275 from the list. Did you catch and other errors in the Results? The results probably have little value because context is so important when evaluating Apps to focus on.
It's too late to edit the List. Caveat emptor. RC275 is the best piano overall on IOS if you have a lot of discretionary income.
If not, Salamander is the best option using BS-16i or Audio Evolution Mobile Studio to load and play the SF2 file from soundfonts4u.com. If you already have BeatHawk the IAP Piano is good but it does pre-mix in a lot of reverb. BeatHawk and RC275 come from UVI.
The Colossus (CrudeBytes) pianos are really good if money is no problem. The IAP Pianos in iSymphonic are good.
I personally have no issues with iGrand from IK Multimedia. It's light weight and never has RAM issues for me. It's cheaper than the big boys. But real piano lovers seem to think it's a poor implmentation... probably not enough layering to seem convincing across a range of dynamics.
@McD ... but RC275 was on your list! @Thardus interesting tales of China. I guess you are the result of the cream of some mung guy, I think champing is champfing or chaffing as we call it today. Shakespeare would be unemployed, I imagine.
I dont get the popularity of SunVox on this list, sure it's complicated but is it really such a great musical tool once the complexity is out of the way? Are there SunVox songs that blow you all away?
It might seem that way but I can explain. I created the initial comment by listing my 3 Apps:
At one point I made a joke about all three apps needing to start with the same letter when 3 G's were put forth.
After a day or so I created a Summary and pasted it over my original comment and I changed the Title to show the new Summary.
If you joined the thread after this you never got to see my original 3... just a long numbered list of apps.
After another day I made the Final talley and the Forum locked down the thread stopping and more editing of the title.
Okey dokey.
