@bcrichards I want that feature, just haven’t worked out how to fit it into the UI nicely!
@MonzoPro I’m planning to do my own “official” resampling tutorial maybe tomorrow, or at least some time soon, and I’ll try to make it as clear as possible what’s happening with the fingers
@elf_audio Please activate Bluetooth headphone support
plus plus on a vid Mister Developer
@elf_audio hi got the latest update The imported samples from Audioshare are playing back faster than they should
24bit & 16bit 44.1khz Anyone else with same issue?
One shot mode would make this so fun for live performance of instantly created drum kits for finger drumming. Like you could just create a kit out of whatever and go at it. But finger drumming without one shot isn’t really doable
@elf_audio really appreciate your efforts and hope things smooth out Just maybe take bit more time with developing what has the potential. No one shot mode or any mention if you intend to add means for me I have to wait a bit to use the app. New bug too with imported samples playing back at wrong pitch. Dont rush take your time with updating. Think bm3 we been waiting a long time for update but will be eager to download. Keep up the hard work though dude - peace
Same thing for me.
I think the internal Sampling Rate is 48k (designed for iPhone?).
If you convert your sample to 48k in AudioShare, it should sound correct.
Or you drop the pitch in Koala around 156 cents, and it will sound pretty close.
Ok cheers for tip. Thats bit crazy standard 48k hope dev updates switchable if not though the app has potential. Just needs the One Shot triggering
@CracklePot cheers dude 48k it is Will make a template with pitch down 156 cents @elf_audio if possible in future update can we tap the dials to get a pop up window to type in number values As of now the numbers are very close to each other when trying to fine tune i.e Pitch . Also I stand corrected (cheers @CracklePot who made me aware the app is at 48k hence my sample imports were pitched up - my bad dude -
Bluetooth always has a delay, so it doesn’t work properly with music app. You’d press a button, and hear the sound a moment later.
Just got this, neat app! The effects are a nice selection. Not too vanilla. The chromatic control is the bees knees. I’m glad it doesn’t have time stretch- I much prefer the audio quality and fun factor of varispeed/tape style pitch shift.
I too would like a one shot option, if it’s on the table?
@stormbeats @CracklePot indeed, iOS defaults to 48kHz, even if you request 44.1kHz. I hesitated to put conversion in because it meant upsampling the sample you import and that can affect quality if it's not done nicely!
I've found a clean way to do it now, and it's in the next update (submitting now), along with a few more stability fixes.
I do intend to switch to a steady, more tested update cycle, but at the moment, I just want to get in a few of the deal-breaker features as soon as possible - one-shot is going to be amongst the next features.
@Processaurus one shot is coming soon!
@elf_audio Exemplary customer support--much appreciated! Friends, please leave a review if you feel moved. Least we can do for a Dev who is working hard for us.
+1, great app and dev.
Some nice press!

No, latency is not that bad at all these days. Besides... this is a vertical app targeted primarily at iphone users. And iphones since iPhone 7 no longer have a headphone jack. It only makes sense to include bluetooth headphone support.
@elf_audio thanks dude you have my continued support for sure You can see in my profile pic Iam an old school dude with the S950 etc . You have done a fantastic job with the app due to its simplicity I really see this app taking off - cheers keep up the good work. Fingers crossed for landscape mode but in your own time - peace :-)
Loving this app especiallly the resample. Any plans to replicate the Compressor and Vinyl Simulator effects of the SP303? These are 2 of the effects that make the SP303 so sought after
@elf_audio in a future update be cool to have the performance effects settings saved with the project because they are excellent And I can confirm my old Edirol UA-25 external soundcard works excellent so can sample via external soundcard. :-)
That would be so sweet.
I thought the same thing. Imagine that it will be literally an Sp ipad
@elf_audio really enjoying the way you can work out sequences on the fly without having to stop while sequences are playing The Merge/Extend sequences is excellent quick and the way it should be Really impressive
p.s. BAss effect appears to be broken when resampling from app - just gives a white cell
I suggested this feature as well. I find SampleBot and TriqTraq both work fine with Bluetooth headphones...
Hope it finds it’s way into the app.
@elf_audio latest update v1.2 issue - the mixed sample rate import from Audioshare crashed the app then automatically re installed on my Air2/ 12.1.1 tried a 48k and 44.1k . To the dev thats bit crazy . Lost all my new beats . Need to fix this .Anyone else had this? I re booted ipad and still issue

Same problem here. I really appreciate the devs hard work and the fact that he quickly implements user requests, but my advise is to take the time for proper testing before releasing an update.
This app is gold. No need to rush the implementation of so called “missing, deal breaker” features. Maybe invite forum members as betatesters?
The app is great. Thanks dev.
Are you planning a song mode where you can sequence sequences?
Yes, same here on the bug with resampling.
@Maarten @elf_audio I agree - before the “deal breaker” becomes a “broken deal” for what has the potential to be a really good app. I did mention this to the dev. Take time We will wait patiently
Really sorry, managed to do it again - this is the second time I've done a whoopsie. Please accept my apologies. A new fixed (and thoroughly tested) version will go up tonight.
Just worked out why my testing is going wrong (I was testing debug builds, stupid!!)
In the meantime, I think sample import will still work, if instead of pressing the "IMPORT AUDIO" button, you just go to the app you want to import from and share the audiofile to Koala via the share button in that app.
Again, really sorry, next update will be out soon but tested much more rigorously on all my devices. After that, no more off the cuff updates.
