Looks like you get one new soundset with each new drummer. “Mike” is Mike Portnoy and “John” is John Bonham. £4.99 each in the UK. I’d like to hear a demo before going for it but I’m very tempted as both drummers are right for my kind of music.

    anyone tried the IAP?

What exactly are they? New sounds or just styles of playing?

New sounds (2kit) and I think 2 new styles.

  • They sound convincingly

  • Works on iPad 2 iOS 9 :)

  • As Lumbeat talked about the future of their apps with IAA being marked as deprecated?

  • Does $4.99 reflect the 50% off price? I see all IAPs of all Lumbeats apps are 4.99 at the moment. Not sure if these are sale or just his regular prices. Can anyone enlighten me please?

    Only this...

  • is this what the Mike Portnoy kit sounds like ? lol

  • Glad I caught this. Only had soft drummer. This is really good.

  • Great day for drummers😜

Don’t quote me but I think the IAPs are always $4.99. I just checked in Soft Drummer which is not on sale and both IAPs, which I wasn’t interested in, are $4.99

Same here. This sale was just the little push I needed.

  • i’m trying to send midi notes into rock drum machine from Atom. i have the midi routed for atom midi track i. Aum, into rock drum machine. I set rock drum machine to sound module mode. i check the midi input in rock drum machine and it only shows “network session as an input” it sees aum as an output, but not input. am i missing something?

yeah i did that too. it still doesn’t show up as a midi input

  • must be an aum thing. it seems to trigger via midi outside of aum from other apps. hmmm weird

Not sure it matters but I think RD by default listens to midi channel 10 and I know Atom 1 only sends on midi channel 1 so maybe that’s it?

  • nope it still isn’t working tried channel 1 channel 10 still not showing up ! is it an aum setting ?

  • @eross I have never been able to successfully trigger ANY Lumbeat app as a sound module via MIDI. I have long desired a way to have, for example, Soft Drummer play the kits in Jazz Drummer, but I have not been able to do it in any DAW (I've tried Cubasis, apeMatrix, AUM & AudioBus) or with any crazy MIDI routing scheme. If this could get sorted it would be brilliant, but I've not been able to make it work thus far.

  • I’ve not been able to send program change midi to change live pads either, may be a bug with the update, have tried different channels and sources.

thanks, I bought Infinite Credit Pack as well :)

  • Is possible to export pro jazz lab loops?

  • yep, i did this exactly the same. unfourtunatly it doesn’t ever make it to where i can select Aum or atom or keyboard as a midi input source. it must be something else going on. i’ll have to try it on my ipad when i get home. maybe that is the issue

  • Another amazing drum from Lumbeat but still no state save!!

  • Thanks for this, routing through AB3s virtual midi bridge seems to do the trick.

  • yeah, i’m guessing that may be my only option
