Really! Oh no.
Uh oh… all mybanks are there, bu5 inside the banks a lot of presets are missing and it just says default. Also don’t see the 4 new banks and the additional user bank. Crap. Is Jorge Reales a member of the forum… where to send bug reports too? Probably on the website.
Found a my presets bank.fxb
Now I can’t remember what banks were filled up and which ones were not? I though5 they were all mostly filled, some still are but some banks have a column of presets and 2 columns of default presets. I’m confused if I’m missing any or not. Banks are there, but inside the banks some of them seem to be showing a lot more default patches then I remember. Any ideas?

I dunno if the developer looks here but todays update(s) don't work as a standalone app on iOS 15 beta 4 - for future reference.
That said the AUv3 seems to work fine in AUM.
Audiobus 3 also doesn't work (crashes shortly after opening) in the current iOS beta.
Before you say it -- I lost my iOS 14.7 backup last week accidentally so I can't roll back without ruining my general iOS existence.
I mistakenly thought they’d been erased because of a change to the file menu. Although like you I can’t seem to find the new presets now. Odd.
This update came just as I was in the middle of recording a new song using the OB-Xd. Weird timing.
Delete and re-install the app and the new banks should pop up
(All presets work in the update that dropped this morning while yesterdays update the Luke pack was all silent).
Cool update! Love the sounds we can get out of this. Anyone know where we can get more presets (all the ones I keep hearing you guys talking about having/losing)?

Yeah preset surfing is nutters now but they are mostly fair to amazing patches. Took me a sec to fine them. I don't see many settings. This rocks and is also on my Mac as AU and is so far the only cross app to work for me. Have a day!

It was hard to find, but it was like load bank a, or whatever person named the bank. Seems each bank has around 100 presets and then you can switch to another. Import bank, or load under settings bar. You will get it just muck around too, If I found them then I KNOW yawl can! Cheers
Deleting an app will delete your custom presets unless you’ve backed them up.
This has honestly become my go-to soft synth. I love it especially because it has no effects and can use my own preferred chain without having to turn off stuff when switching presets. Plus the voice-panning rules. It’s not exactly an OB, but it captures the feel and is top quality audio-wise. And it’s easy to dial in whatever and get to work. And a ton of the presets are really well-done and cover just about everything you can do with it.
Browsing presets is a bit of a challenge but I agree with all the love it is getting here, probably one of the best bang for buck synths.
Yes, the presets browser is the biggest weakness in an otherwise fantastic sounding synth. If the developer would simply emulate a more traditional cascading drop down menu system, it would drastically improve the experience.

I don’t remember at all where did I get these banks from. I don’t know whether Ob-Xd contains these banks by default.
Will I lose these banks if I delete and reinstall the app?
All of those are included with OB-Xd; you won't lose them
Nope, they’ll all come back + 3 more new banks. I had to delete, reinstall, and OPEN STANDALONE FIRST to get the new presets

I still get ’hanging notes’ from time to time, wether it’s sequenced or playing live…
…I suspect that the voice allocation is not working properly or the midi implementation is not ’sample accurate’ so note offs come in the wrong ’frame’ and if the app ’thinks’ it’s already released the note but hasn’t it gets ’hung’.
Same happes with OPL from the same dev…
Seems like a big dsp increase since the update (on iPhone 8+ iOS 14.7).
Would it be possible to implement an “expand-to-full-screen-mode” for OB-Xd in the same way Shaper or Moog has done with their apps to be used as an AUv3 in GarageBand? IMO, Shaper has done it exactly the right way.
So, I’ve noticed that a lot of these lack the “FXB” bank files, and are just pools of FX P files. So here, do we have to import the patches one at a time, or is there a trick I’m missing?
Ob-Xd doesn’t start under iPadOS 15 in standalone mode. However it works fine in an AU host.
This is the case on my wife’s iPad Air 3, curiously not the case on my iPhone SE 2020. (My iPad is staying on 14 for now…!)
