And Stereo
Man this is expensive.I gather it sounds good. I'm tempted to get the mono but without the saturation I know I'll always wish I had the stereo. Anyone have a comment on how sweet the added harmonic content is compared to the mono version?
MagicDeathEye’s are fixed.
MagicDeathEyeStereo’s can be mixed from 0 to double and also gives you oversampling options.
I don’t have either, but I know it’s been stated that both are stereo. One is just called stereo. Supposedly these are supposed to sound great though. I was thinking of getting it for Mac but I have the uad Fairchild’s and a bunch of other mastering and buss type compressors.
They BOTH process stereo. The naming detail comes from the hardware products which are indeed mono (and sold in pairs for any studio application) and Stereo re-packaging of the circuit with some EQ knobs added and added side-chain inputs.
For $4 delta don't miss this discount on the $40+ Stereo product. It sounds super sweet too
while the 'other' sound sweet. Super for $4 extra? If you only get one go Super Sweet.
Thanks, poor wording by me but what I meant was to ask if the saturation sounds good. I read it is subtle but that may still be better than none in the mono version?
Edit: looks like there are Mac demos..
Anyone using the stereo version on a synth insert and finding it worthwhile? Or mainly using that on the master?
Thanks. Yes I know that the different version are both stereo, but are named mono and stereo. That's why I referred to them as mono and stereo.
All I'm really wondering about is the sound of the saturation.
Just tried the Mac demo on a full mix and damn.
What are the best video/audio to hear it in action?
When it came out I listened to some video and I could only hear its effect on extreme settings. I know it’s my fault because I cannot seam to hear compression but I would like to give it another chance.
Did a YouTube search and found an interesting 30-minute tutorial on compression:
BONUS! around the 22:00 mark he discusses whether to put EQ before or after compression.
This video cracks me up. This guy gets so into the MDE, especially around 8:30. You can kind of hear the difference? If you're not watching when he A/B's it, it's really hard to tell!
Ha yea, hard to tell through YouTube. I ran the Mac demo on the master of many mixes the last hour comparing it to many boutique compressors and, to my ears, it’s a big difference. The problem is, it’s making me hear errors now I wasn’t before on those tracks. So that means if I buy it for iOS and use it and their EQ as part of mastering, then I’m gonna have to go back and adjust a bunch in the desktop arrangement. Would have to buy it on Mac too. 😅 It’s does emphasize levels that weren’t before.
I also watched this back in the day, and thought, wtf is wrong with my ears here 😂
But rest easy, when I use it, I can definitely hear the difference!
@Gavinski
Do you use the original or the new "stereo" version? I feel like this might be a nice plug-in for a Fender Precision. I kind of don't have a go-to setup for the bass.
a couple things i saw the desktop version can do in this video that i haven’t figured out how to on ios. cntrl click low/high get options like mono and side, cntrl click input/master out the link
I have both, but I think if you have neither and want to save some money, just go with the newer one. Really nice to have that built in eq. I added that to my mic when makinge videos and it beefs things up nicely, voice sounds richer and fuller.
Yes. It enhances your natural manhood. It enhanced manhood lasts longer than 3 hours you should power off your unit.
Hahaha. Yes, it is very manly, though kind of in a Blue Oyster club manly kind of way. Those knobs look like they're covered in leather 😂.
Don't Fear the Reaper. The Leather Knobs are extra.
Q: Is it true Black Friday is a holiday in honor of Robinson Crusoe's indigenous friend?
A: It is NOT true. But there should be a holiday to thank indigenous people. They helped
vote Trump out of office... especially in Arizona. Walking and riding great distances to vote.
The people coming across the southern Border are primarily indigenous people of the America's: The original Americans.
@noob Thanks for the presets but that dropbox doesn't seem to be working..
Edit: Ah, I see it was a few months ago. If you could upload them that would be great
Another cool feature in MagicDeathEyeStereo is the ste> @BCKeys said:
I clicked 20 times just to make sure, for a friend.
Tried and suddenly it turned into FAP Maxima.
